Slow down on the farm

We are happy to rent our Stöckli on the farm. It offers plenty of space for families and friends. Surrounded by tranquility and nature, nothing stands in the way of relaxation and deceleration. The Emmental region offers many activities and leisure opportunities. We hosts, Gabriela and Niklaus, are a young, active couple with three children. Together with our parents, we run the Hauenfluh farm. On the farm you will find dairy cows, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats and a dog.

This unique place has a very special style. Art Nouveau villa built in 1912 with a large terrace 20 m2 and garden is located on the raised ground floor, a large apartment 80 m2 with everything your heart desires. We take care of the ambience. Close to the center and yet very quiet. There is a church nearby, but you can't hear it inside, as it stops ringing at midnight. The apartment is very nice, large ,clean, bright and newly furnished. The studio is located on the ground floor of a former country school house, surrounded by green meadows, in the beautiful Emmental. The studio has a double bed, a private kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. When the weather is fair, the garden invites you to linger. Despite the rural location, the center of Sumiswald is only about 3 km away. A sports center with swimming pool is also nearby. The nearest bus stop is approx. 1.5 kilometers away.

In the heart of the Emmental, the tiny house/barrel house is in a quiet location right next to an old Emmental farm with wonderful views of the entire Bernese Alps. The barrel cabin offers individuals as well as 2 to 4 people a great place to stay. In the farmhouse there is a furnished kitchen, toilet and shower available (approx. 65 meters away). Right next to the accommodation is a hot tub with massage jets and LED lighting for free use.

The farmhouse from the year 1850 which was renovated in 2019 lies in a quiet neighbourhoor above the sea of fog. The flat has a seperate entrance and a sheltered terrasse with a view over the Alps. The terrasse, which is alined to the south is shared.
