The Trail House is perfectly placed among the trees with many tall windows to take advantage of the gorgeous views. The large 2-tiered deck has two separate sitting areas. You can take the kayaks out for a day on the lake. Hike, bike, cave, kayak, fish, and swim at the base of the waterfalls or sit and relax. Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

Kim’ place was wonderful to stay at. My family loved it and felt good and at home. The view from the house was cute cause you can see the water across. Overall, besides those, Kim was respectful, kind and so generous, she gave me a little graduation gift with a card. She responded quickly as possible with helpful guidance. The house was spotless and super clean, and very big for a tiny house; but wonderful overall! I will definitely come back because of how everything was and I am super big on the respect and kindness she has brought in during my family’s stay!
