Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Transdanubia

The house/bungalow lies in a nice quiet area which is cool for walking around. You can go to the lake in 10 minutes. The beds were also nice. We were three people but six people could also be doable. Kitchen was well equipped. The place is close to a lot of nice sightseeing (In car). Can highly recommend this airbnb.

We spent a wonderful week in the little house, which is absolutely baby and dog friendly. We got everything we needed for the everyday life of a one-year-old baby (travel bed, high chair, baby bath, plastic bowls and glasses) and the kitchen is super well equipped. The neighborhood is beautiful, I can only recommend it!

This experience can only be experienced, not described. I recommend it to everyone. The description is perfect, and the other reviews speak for themselves. We were with two young children and I hope to go back as soon as possible.

Everything you need is in the house, even more spacious than in the pictures. Despite the spring weather, we caught an unexpected cold, thanks to the various heating options, it was still very comfortable.:) the view is beautiful and the access to the house is provided on good quality roads. This place was exactly what we needed as two teachers wanting to get out of the city. Peaceful, countryside home with a beautiful sauna and jacuzzi that we used multiple times a day. We loved exploring this part of Hungary (we went to Lake Hévíz) and genuinely enjoyed our stay here. We biked from the train station to the Airbnb, which was hard in the winter. A car might be necessary for others.

We enjoyed a 6 night stay in the middle of may. The house is beautiful, very tasteful decorated, and Franciska made sure to warm it up for us before arriving since this may was a little cold. Much appreciated! We didn’t spent a lot of time in Zebegény, but it is a very calm and beautiful little town. I do recommend exploring the cities around. Especially Esztergom and Budapest swept us off our feet. Franciska is super fast in replying every question we had a long the way. The neighbor dog looks tough and he wants you to think that he is. In reality, he’s actually a little nervous about new people. We talked to him a lot and he ended up making friends with us and our 2 year old daughter. Also, there are so many beautiful plants around the house - including a cactus in the bedroom. I do recommend removing said cactus if you have small children 😂 All in all, we recommend this place. If you’re looking and reading this, you’ve found your next holiday getaway. Have fun and enjoy!

Beautiful peaceful views. Comfortable beds. Functional kitchen. Interesting garden with lots of knooks to explore. Would be great for a group. The outdoor spaces were not as clean as the photos, but it is understandable with so much nature. Inside was super clean and exactly as described.

It was really lovely place to stay and explore Balaton region. It was our first time here and we totaly fall in love. Very small, but very cosy home to stay in the vineyards and enjoying every morning. There was everything we wanted and it was really beautiful

Csenge and Zsuzsa have been amazing hosts for me! They were so respectful and always have been attentive to private space. The place is located in a very central place and it just takes 5-10 minutes to reach many central places such as lovely cafes and historical places. It has been one of my favourite stays. Mate and Noemi were great hosts. They were responsive and extremely helpful. Check-in was a breeze and the property was just as advertised. It has a phenomenal view of the Hungarian parliament building. It would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Budapest.

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria and Ronen's apartment in Budapest. The flat was superb — very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Our hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, making communication smooth and easy even from a distance. One of the highlights was the stunning rooftop with a jacuzzi, offering the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the city. The location is ideal as well, with many of Budapest's main attractions within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Great place! Very quiet, peaceful and equipped with absolutely everything you need. I spent 8 days during the winter and the temperature absolutely everywhere was excellent. Besides it is furnished with a lot of style which brings you even much more comfort. The hostess is very kind and helpful !

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful loft! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything looked exactly like in the photos – if not better. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made us feel right at home. The location was perfect – quiet, yet very close to everything we needed. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from start to finish. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area – we would definitely come back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet area with lots of things to do. We cycled the path around the lake, swam in Lake Heviz and walked up to the lookout from the house. We ate in a great restaurant recommended by our hosts too. The flat has everything you need - we especially appreciated the washing machine. Hot tub was amazing - we used it every night. Communication was great and we received lots of local tips and suggestions. Would highly recommend. We stayed with children aged 8, 11 and 13.

Daniel’s place was exactly as shown in the listing. Thankful that we had a lift since it was located on the 7th floor.. The minute we opened the door we felt right at home. Information about the area was available and home was well stocked. Everything within walking distance (grocery store, restaurants, public transportation). The view from the living room, dining room, kitchen and balcony was STUNNING any time of the day. Sometimes it was hard for us to leave the place. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Budapest.

A beautiful four-room apartment with a large living room in the middle of a remote, well-kept residential area. The crickets chirp, the birds chirp and otherwise there is absolute silence except for a couple of dogs. The nice young man speaks English, the mother can be reached via the AirBnB app. All the windows have shutters. The kitchen is well-equipped. They even provide tea, coffee, vinegar and oil. There is nothing wrong. The apartment, bathroom and kitchen are clean, the communication caring and friendly. One of the best apartments I've ever been to. However, you probably need a car to get there.
