Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Travemünde

We were here with our 2 small children and especially enjoyed the peace and relaxation. We really liked the view from the terrace and the living area to the lake. The children had toys in the children's room and we had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom & co. Despite the rain, there were great excursion destinations for families nearby and it is only a few minutes' drive to the beach. Thank you for the beautiful, relaxing stay and the cozy "short-term home"!

The cozy little cottage, overgrown with fragrant roses, was just the thing for a break. In the morning you wake up to the sound of birdsong, in the evening hedgehogs run across the terrace. An idyll with super lovely hosts who live next door. Lake Ratzeburg is about 15 minutes away by car.

The accommodation has a very nice and quickly heating sauna, which can be used spontaneously and without long planning. In addition, there is a large quiet garden - perfect for reading and resting or for making a campfire. The proximity to Lübeck and Schwerin is great to take a day trip. :) The only drawback is that it gets quite bright in the sleeping area, especially because there is a skylight in the east direction. A way to darken would be desirable here. Otherwise, it should also be mentioned that the surroundings with the lakes are really beautiful and you can also watch (wild)animals there very well. Hosts Scarlett and Robert are also happy to lend you binoculars and give you tips.😊

We enjoyed the stay in Sonja's beautiful accommodation and the tranquility. The location and the garden are fantastic! Every now and then, even a wild "house rabbit" hops by. The rooms are very cozy, extremely clean and well equipped. For our little daughter (18 months), the children's room was optimal. Games are also available, and there is a swing in the garden. Sonja is also a very warm, courteous and child-friendly host! The fact that she provided us with a handcart for transporting our luggage for the short distance from the car to the house is just one small example of her helpfulness. We immediately felt welcome and at home. We will definitely be happy to come back!! :)

We were with 3 families in the house and had a very nice weekend! There are 3 ways to shower or bathe - which was great with several people. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The garden is fenced and beautifully planted. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you could possibly need. The walk to the beach is about 20 minutes, if you walk leisurely. It is a beautiful natural beach. We were kindly allowed to enter earlier and stay a little longer. Thank you!

The house is perfectly located. Quiet, yet only 5 minutes to the promenade/beach. Great restaurants nearby. The garden was very well maintained and everything you need was available and even more than expected. The house was very clean and you felt comfortable immediately. Glad to come back :-)

We had a great five days at Sven's place. We particularly enjoyed the tranquility and the nature all around. Total relaxation and rest. The short walk to the beach led through the castle park and the brasserie invited you to a culinary stop. Otherwise, Kalkhorst is the perfect place to explore the surroundings. The cities such as Wismar, Lübeck Travemünde and Schwerin were easily accessible in 40 minutes. We will be happy to come back.

We had an all-round pleasant stay! The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated and exactly as described. I especially liked the quiet location and thoughtful amenities – it was really thought of everything. Communication with the host was friendly and quick. I stayed with my boyfriend for 2 nights It was perfect for us because it was quiet, but there were still plenty of opportunities to do. We explored Lübeck, Timmendorfer Strand and Outpost One (Star Wars) with travel times of 20-30 min. So the location was great for us. The place had everything you needed, was clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable. There are also some games available, which we have also used. All round, a successful weekend away.

We can honestly describe the accommodation as the most lovingly furnished accommodation we have ever stayed in on Airbnb. We really lacked nothing, on the contrary: great seating, relaxed lounge chairs in the garden, a well-equipped kitchen, sensibly developed bathrooms with motion detectors for the night... A truly unique, cozy and absolutely idyllic find is available to rent here. The owner Torsten is extremely friendly and accommodating and even offered us a late checkout at no extra charge - so far unique for us. We can and want to give a clear 200% recommendation here! :-)

We spent five weeks in winter in Cornelia's cozy, charming accommodation. It is furnished with a lot of love for detail, and there was nothing missing. The location is unbeatable in the immediate vicinity of the canal. Our dogs loved it. Just like the lovingly maintained garden. In short, we highly recommend the apartment!

Very nice, maritime tastefully furnished apartment! Top location overlooking the inland lake and partly North Sea. Bakeries and shops to stroll around, restaurants, right around the corner. The two balconies made it possible to sit in the sun both in the morning and in the afternoon. I would also like to highlight the cleanliness of the apartment, and the uncomplicated service at check-in and check-out. It was all hassle-free and very understandable. We had a very relaxing weekend and can fully recommend the apartment!

A nice cottage in a quiet location. The semi-detached houses are highly recommended for larger groups. By dividing the houses, it is possible to be together, but there is also the chance to retreat! Especially in mixed groups, where children are also perfect. For some, it takes some getting used to having no wifi. Cell phone reception is also rather poor. For us, that was not a problem, it was rather conducive to the recovery. There was nothing missing in the kitchen when it comes to dishes. However, you have to know that basic amenities, salt, baking paper, oil, dish soap/tabs, hand soaps in the bathrooms, etc., are not mandatory. There was a loving welcome package in each kitchen, but it will not suffice depending on the length of stay (1 washbasin, 1 small packet of salt and pepper, 1 bag of dish soap). We had a great stay and would book the house again anytime!

The stay at Villa Pura Vida was very nice. The ground floor apartment is clean, tidy and corresponds exactly to the description. The location is very good for walking to the supermarket, bike rental or the center of Burg. The car can be safely parked in the farmhouse and the internet is also fast enough. Communication with the hosts was pleasantly friendly, clear and straightforward.

We have enjoyed the house and surroundings very much. The house is wonderfully spacious and bright with a nice garden. The area is green and quiet, city and beach are also easy to reach. Absolutely recommended!

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

It was a very pleasant stay! The house has everything you need to relax. Sauna is amazing, bbq equipment is great. I strongly recommend this place for a short stay. But make sure you come with your car, as shops and civilisation is pretty far, which is not bad at all when one wants some peace.

The house is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation with many friends or the extended family. The house is so big that you don't even notice that there are 12 people there. And when everyone does come together to eat, there is still room for everyone at the huge dining table. The furnishings are extremely stylish. I travel home inspired.
