Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Trinity River

This was the second time we rented this particular house. It fits us perfectly for visiting our daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren. There’s a park right behind that we went to and played. There was plenty of room for us to play in the house as well! It’s perfect. It is our go to stay when we come to Dunsmuir.

Scott's place is fantastic. Well designed and appointed home with a direct view of Mt Shasta and easy access to the town of Weed and Mt Shasta. Will definitely stay again when we come back. Thanks Scott!

Loved this lake house for my birthday celebration/girls weekend! Lots to do at the house (pool, foosball, cornhole). Enjoyed the spa at night with a million stars and the view decks were a huge hit, epic morning yoga decks! The house was comfortable, clean, and well designed for all rooms to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Shasta!

The house was excellent for 6 travelers and we all felt comfortable in her beautiful home. Thank you Cathy.

We had an amazing time staying at the house. The kids and adults both loved the pool and the heat. Everything as described and would happily stay again!

A very cute little place in the mountains! Very warm and cozy and felt like home! Very clean and would stay again! Two people in our party of 4 are 6’5” so they found the beds uncomfortable due to having a railing at the foot of the bed so something to think about if you have a tall party! Rooms do get a little toasty without window A/C but living area well controlled by split unit! Host is great and location close to lots of hiking! Town itself is a little dead but a very quiet place to be!

So grateful to have found this little gem right outside the park. Comfortable house, friendly hosts. Definitely will stay again.

Corey’s place was amazing! Probably one of the best Airbnb properties I have stayed at over the years. The house has a lot to offer and shows how much care the owners have put into maintaining it. Everything you possibly need has been thought of and provided generously. I have to highlight that the first aid kit came in handy for us as I had a little injury during the trip. To add to these amenities, Corey’s hospitality and responsiveness no doubt made our check in stay very smooth. He also offered so many recommendations in the guest guide book. I will definitely come back to stay with Corey if I am traveling to this area with a group.

I had a wonderful stay at Steve and Kathryn’s place. The studio was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. Their directions were clear and made it easy to find the place. Although the studio is located downstairs, it was very quiet—they were incredibly respectful and considerate of guests; I hardly hear any noises at all. The location is also conveniently close to Mount Shasta town. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay / lovely place to crash! Trains will go by slow but be loud - charming but did wake me up 🤓 enjoyed all the amenities and the super comfortable bed.

We had a great one night stay at Thyra’s place. It was cool to be able to walk to a waterfall that was barely half a mile away. The place is very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed.

A wonderful place to stay the night with all the essentials! The space was cozy and clean. Trey communicated helpful information prior to arrival and their circle drive is great if bringing your own car.

This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.

We stayed at Jessica’s studio in Weaverville for 1 night. Great spot for exploring the charming small mountain communities and outdoor recreation. The weather was quite warm during our visit, but Jessica’s place has A/C which was great for us to cool down a little. Very comfortable for stay, wish it had been longer. We shall return if we plan to travel back here. The mountains, creeks, rivers and lakes are stunning! 🌲🛶⛰️❤️

Howard and Mary’s place was a true gem. It was impeccably clean, abounding with wonderful energy, great location, had everything you could want with clear instructions and they were very helpful, responsive, hospitable, and accommodating. I cannot recommend this place enough for a quiet, comfortable, and peaceful stay in the heart of Mt. Shasta.

We had a hiccup in the beginning with accessing the property, but they worked quickly to get us the access code and we were able to get in. Just make sure your text and/or email includes the door code. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay. It was clean and walkable to many shops and restaurants and very close to Mount Shasta and the hikes we wanted to do. The beds were also very comfortable. Thanks for the memories!

Thank you for a great stay at dharma den. So peaceful and well-equipped. The neighbors really helped each other during the heavy snowstorm. Very special place. I look forward to staying again!
