Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Trinity River

Our family wanted to go to lake Shasta, whiskeytown lake, the waterfalls and other types of things and we decided to stay in Redding. This location was perfect! It was right in the middle of everything. Lots of food options. Lots of things to do and the house was absolutely gorgeous. I was very pleased with how clean it was and the neighbors were also really nice. It had everything you needed. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to go to any of the nearby lakes or waterfalls.

We had an absolute wonderful stay here. Home was beautiful with a stunning view of Mount Shasta in a private and peaceful neighborhood. It was a great location for the purpose of our trip to explore and hike. Beds were comfortable and things were well-stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Our only issue was the heat, especially upstairs. I don’t consider this to be an issue with the hosts, since small fans were provided in each room, it’s just something to mention for future guests to be aware that it can get pretty hot, even in early June, with no A/C. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we visited the area again. Our trip was adults only but this would be a great stay for families with children since toys and high chairs were available.

No photos can do justice to this wonderful, wonderful house. The location is perfect—you get a stunning view of Mt. Shasta, and the ability to see so many stars at night is absolutely mind-blowing! Not to mention how cozy the house is—beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. My friends and I are so thankful the universe led us to Janet's house; it truly was the cherry on top of our trip to Mt. Shasta. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Clean, cozy cabin that was close to the outdoor activities that brought us to the Mt Shasta area. I would highly recommended and would stay thier again if I was in the area.

We had a very nice stay at this beautiful house. It's dog friendly and the yard is amazing - big and nice outdoor seating areas. The house had everything we needed, great kitchen, cute bedrooms, comfortable beds and plenty of additional lines and towels. One can walk downtown to restaurants and shops very easily and all are dog friendly. Host communication was prompt and we were very comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect to accommodate our family’s visit to the Redding area for a wedding! We loved the quiet neighborhood and the house met all our needs for a nice space to relax and visit during a hot temperature weekend! The game room was a big hit with our young grandsons! Would definitely stay again!

Michelle created such a beautiful and homey space. The garden is so lovely with an epic view of Mt. Shasta. It was a pleasant surprise to find toys in the closet for my daughter to play with. It was also really nice to have the park so close by. The train was loud the first night but then we got use to it. My daughter felt right at home and did not want to leave. We definitely want to come back!

Thank you Rick and Tammie - lovely little home that is fully equipped, including every type of kitchenware (in great condition), paper products, plastic baggies, even a full cabinet of spices. The house was spotlessly clean, which is very important to us, and nicely decorated. Plenty of room to hang out with family - nice furniture too! Comfy bed. Rick was very responsive when the smoke alarm went off (battery needed changing) and even left us a bottle of wine. So sweet! Town is a couple of blocks away - easy walk! All and all it was perfect for us and we would stay there again.

this was a beautifully decorated home with lots of privacy and deer in the yard that we all enjoyed watching. My kids had tons of fun in the pool, we used the bbq to celebrate my mom recent retirement and had everything we needed for cooking. beds were comfortable with plenty of linens, we used the washer and dryer with no issues. The only issue we had was floors were dirty and we had to sweep and mop as they were very sticky and down stairs shower was not clean (we are picky clean people). Even with this we would stay here again and recommend.

The view from the patio and deck was so beautiful, definitely priceless and something you have to experience yourself to truly appreciate. The house was everything we needed and had hoped for. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The property is so close to the lake which made launching our boat so convenient and quick. We would recommend this property to anyone that asks and will definitely be returning.

This is a lovely home on a cul de sac. Parking in driveway. Absolutely beautiful back yard with a lovely view of the valley and mountains. Perfect for morning coffee, afternoon sunning, evening sunsets. Quiet neighborhood. If you’re looking for a comfortable retreat atmosphere, this is it.

Location, location, location! Shelly’s home is on the edge of a beautiful mineral spring near Mount Shasta. The home itself is well-maintained. If not a little rustic, but has all of the amenities you would expect. The outdoor spaces are really where it shines. Panoramic patios over the edge of the mineral spring, walking paths, tiny meditation spaces. The yoga studio we rented was also perfect for the retreat that I ran What I loved most was that the sound of the creek was constantly in the background it was so relaxing .
