The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The nearest town with restaurants and supermarkets is only a few minutes away. Electricity and running water are available. This is thoroughly purified rainwater, not drinking water. Drinking water can be obtained from a tap about 500 meters away. The cabin is self-sufficient except for electricity.

A fully equipped kitchen and washing machine are also available.
