Home away from home, cozy place and close to everything, quite and safe. Convenient for long term stays, kitchen includes all needed utensils, nice living room with big screen TV. Jackie is super nice and helpful.

This location is a duplex and my sister and I previously stayed in the upstairs unit. I thought we’d miss the view from up there, but honestly, I really enjoyed the lower unit more. It’s smaller but cozy and still enough space for two people (who know each other well). It’s not too tight and the kitchen (huge fridge and lots of counter space!) the bedroom and the bathroom were just the right size. There’s also great amenities and the water gets nice and hot. You will hear people walking around upstairs and there’s a train that’s nearby, but for the most part, it’s otherwise peaceful and quiet. And downtown Ferndale is a beautiful place with a lot of activity/sights to see. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

My friend and I stayed here for one night for the Kendrick Lamar + SZA concert at Ford Field. The Airbnb was easy to find, and the instructions for getting inside were detailed and easy to follow. This loft is inside a very old building that has been repurposed into residential units, and you do have to go up two flights of old rickety wooden stairs to get to the third floor. The unit itself has been redone and is very nice! We had everything we needed for the stay and felt completely safe. An Uber to the stadium was reasonably priced, and it’s only a 10 minute drive. There is a park right next to the building that runs along the river, and you can see Canada on the other side! :) We were also given a gate opener so we could park one car in the gated parking lot for the building. But there is also plenty of street parking.

Erica and Brian are the perfect hosts, thoughtful, organized and extremely responsive! Their place is wonderful and has everything you need for your stay. I was there for over a month and everything was great and made me feel like I was at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, the location is so convenient and comfortable. You can’t go wrong staying here. Paul

Loris place was absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. Hands down the cleanest airbb I’ve ever stayed in. Lori’s place has everything needed for a short or long-term stay. The townhome is so spacious and in a super safe location. The community dog park is incredible for people traveling with pets. Will absolutely be back.

Loved my stay here truly felt comfortable and the neighborhood was very quite and peaceful, was skeptical at first because of how it looked outside but the apartment itself was very clean and cozy, gabby was very friendly and helpful me and my fiancé really liked our stay here, did not even want to leave hahaha, thank you so much! Can’t wait to book here again.. this will be my go to place

This is is great place and super clean. So close to down town if you don’t want to walk a little Uber rides were only 5-7 dollars . Can’t beat this place for royal oak adventures

We loved this AirBnB! It was very clean and quiet. This neighborhood is one of the better areas if you want a place close to everything that is Detroit. It is by the fire barn so if that bothers you then it may not be the spot for you. (I will say we only heard the firetruck take off maybe 5 times all weekend) It didn't bother us at all. The kitchen and bathrooms are full of gadgets if needed. Beds and couches are comfortable. Everything was clean. Lots of great aspects like free coffee, condiments, free cable, fast internet, close parking, nice porches, and more. We will be back

This home is very nice and unique being that it’s made of shipping containers. The decor was awesome and everything looks just like the pictures. There are a lot of stores and restaurants in the area, which was very convenient. Aaron was an awesome host. He was very responsive and friendly. Being that this was our first time staying at an Airbnb, Aaron made my husband and I feel very comfortable. Our stay was amazing.

The view was amazing! Brandon was an amazing host! this place is a MUST to book with lost of to do near downtown.

We really enjoyed our 4 days at Dana’s. Birmingham is a beautiful neighborhood, very sweet neighbors. Dana’s place was very comfortable, shower was hot, small kitchen was perfect to prepare breakfast. We would definitely feel lucky to stay here again.

The stay was lovely and quiet - super responsive!

Kendra is very nice. My family stayed here for ten days. The room was as described in the photo. It was well furnished with a beautiful garden to sit in and watch the squirrels run around. The location is close a lake and there is a Kroger in five minutes drive.Kendra was very helpful with our living needs. We enjoyed our stay, I would definitely recommend her house and would choose this house again next time.

Had a great stay. The place was easy to find, and having a carport was very convenient. Check-in was easy, and there were lots of amenities and shopping within a 15-minute drive. Would recommend!

Stayed for a night and caught a show at royal oaks theater. I couldn’t not recommend this spot more. A few bucks more than a hotel room but so worth it. Insanely close to so many things, great spots to eat and drink, a market next door, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and private inside, cool basement vibes.

Your place was clean and beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable too. Please also give us a recommendation as well. Ian and Paul were both amazing host. for the apartment, it's very nice and cozy, especially the bathroom toilet, owww I freaking loved it. The location is quite and the area is close to Ferndale local restaurants. How nice are the host? : By the day I lost my luggage and I thought I lost it when I was there. Ian and Paul were very nice people that they helped me change security door camera footage. Even tho we didnt find it, the effort they put for me meant a lot to me. A week later, a local restaurant found my contact through airline and contacted me said they had my luggage. It was my fault for not remembering it. But I just wanna say a big thank you for these amazing host. total 5 stars 🌟
