Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Troy

We had the BEST TIME at this fantastic Lakeside house in Valatie!  The house itself has 3 good bedrooms – 2 large bedrooms upstairs with a nice bathroom and tub.  The downstairs has the other cute bedroom, another full bathroom,  a good sized kitchen open to a great and large living and dining area. The VIEW from the main room is stunning and was our ‘TV’ for the week.  The lake is just gorgeous!  It has a little dock with kayaks and plenty of nice seating and lounge chairs.  It’s great to have a full grass lawn !  The pups loved the house and the yard and the lake!  The house was super clean and roomy but cozy in it’s feel.  So many great little towns nearby – it was just the perfect house to get away from the city!  The community was chill, even tho it was Memorial Day weekend.  Thanks to Michael who was super responsive (not that we needed anything!) but if we had a question. Etc.  Thank you Michael ! We hope to be back for another visit !!!

Erin’s place was absolutely lovely! We really enjoyed the location - so peaceful and conveniently close to Art Omi. The cabin was beautifully maintained, and we especially loved the interior design, which felt both stylish and cozy. We stayed for two nights but honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay. Wish it wasn’t pouring rain so we could’ve enjoyed the beautiful patio and fire pit! The host was extremely accommodating and in great communication. Would definitely come back.

The house and especially the location was wonderful. Very quiet surroundings and great nature. Contacting the very nice hosts was easy and uncomplicated. We found the house as it was described in the advertisement. The furnishings also left nothing to be desired. All in all, it was a lovely stay and we would want to request the house again at any time if we come back to this beautiful area.

We had a wonderful stay at Brenda’s home during Christmas week. Me, my mom and Scarlett the dog visited Troy to see my brother and his wife. We felt at home in Brenda’s home. It was comfy and cozy. So many thoughtful amenities were left for us. There was no shortage of blankets and pillows which was great being it was freezing outside. The neighbors were friendly and her husband showed up to shovel snow and put down salt. The house was immaculate. As people who own a cleaning service this was very important to us. The house was on a dead and street so it was quiet. The location was great and we were able to get to all areas of Troy by car easily. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Very comfortable couch

Kristin and Bret have a wonderful spot to stay and relax. The loft style suite is perfect for a small family or friends to stay comfortably. It is clean and cozy and the highlight is definitely the window seat looking back on the woods behind the property. I stayed with my daughter for just tonight so we could explore Saratoga Springs. It is not too far to feel close to town, but definitely outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Bret and Kristin were very responsive to all messages and gave great recommendations for local food and attractions.

Richard and his wife are top notch people who I would gladly stay at their air bnb again. They helped show me the place and were some of the nicest people I have met. Would recommend them any day of the week

Leo and Michelle were very responsive with any questions we had, and even reached out to offer us an early check in. The location was close enough to our places of interest, while still being slightly rural. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We will stay there again when we return!

Stayed at Juliann’s place for a work trip in the area. The apartment was very comfortable, and the location was perfect — just a short drive to nearby Saratoga and also walkable to local restaurants. The apartment also has plenty of thoughtful touches that made it feel special. Great place for one person or a couple looking for a peaceful stay.

Had an excellent stay at Keith’s place! Everything was clean and as described. Keith even reached out to us to let us know we can check in early if we wanted. It’s literally 2mins from Skidmore which is the reason we were there and I couldn’t recommend it more. Will be back when we are in town again.

This my third time back to Ellen’s cabin. It’s great place for a weekend in the Catskills. The property is beautiful and very private. The area surrounding the cabin is equally as beautiful. I plan to come back for many years to come.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It’s very spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything you need. The property is large and beautiful, with stunning views and even a pond on-site. Everything is convenient and thoughtfully arranged — from the cozy fireplace to the overall peaceful atmosphere. The place feels both comfortable and private. I’ve already recommended it to my friends and would love to come back again. Truly a perfect getaway in nature!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The views from the home and the surrounding area were amazing and we found ourselves just slowing down a lot on our drive there to take it all in. Our favorite parts were the hot tub which was so relaxing especially with the backdrop of nature behind us and the amazing kitchen where we cooked all of our meals each day. Most things were around 20 minutes out so it was a very stay at home stay so we really appreciated the effort they made at making the home the main attraction. The host was very communicate and helped solve a minor issue we had right away which was a great experience. Our least favorite part was having to leave! Overall we look forward to coming back again in the future to such a cozy home.

The cabin was the perfect first destination for our New England trip!

Loved staying here. The place was very comfortable and well maintained. It was the perfect little hide away! The weather during our stay ended up being rainy and very cold for end of May, but the house was cozy and provided a great place for us to avoid the rain and made it all worth it! Highly recommend!

This spot is a perfect balance of rustic cabin with modern luxuries. The host is very trusting of guests resulting in a very pleasant. It's not very often I find an AirBNB where I am able to spin vinyl in the morning while using the Ninja Blender to make a smoothie or sit by wood burning stove (with wood provided by owner) while reverse searing a porterhouse steak from Grimaldi's Farm Store to perfection using the stove's integrated thermometer probe. It's those types of amenities that really bring this cabin a step above many other cabins I've stayed out in New England and the Hudson Valley. Part of the character of the place is the old charm. Because of the the floor boards are a bit rustic and not perfectly aligned, I would recommend bringing slippers to walk around. Depending on how you sleep, consider bringing a sleep mask as the sky lights in the bedrooms do let a fair amount of light in. The location is great and a 30 minute drive from Great Barrington and Hudson.

Six adult members of our family gathered to celebrate a milestone birthday, and we had a wonderful time. Maria contacted us the week before, so we knew how to get in and all other necessary details. We loved the spacious living room and dining area, the large windows looking out at the woods all around, the cleanliness of the rooms and linens, the games provided, and the well equipped kitchen. We were very comfortable and happy to be there. The house was great and Maria was a top-notch host.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend away and it was soo worth it. The home is so clean and updated and it was so nice. The bath towels were thick and smelled amazing! It really is the little details that made this place stand out to me. And the creek running in the back is so serene. I would absolutely stay here again. It rained most of our stay but we were so warm and cozy inside. I would love to come back during a sunny weekend to explore more of the outdoors, because the Catskills mountains are so amazing.
