My family and I had a wonderful stay at Leighanna’s place. The home was stocked with everything we needed. I was impressed by how clean the home was. The highlight of our stay was enjoying dinners on the deck with the peaceful surroundings. Sadly we did not get to use the hot tub as Truckee had a small heatwave the weekend we were there. The AC was a nice treat. The home is located away from the main streets and shops so it is helpful to come prepared with all the items you will need to avoid having to go up and down the hill. I did locate a nice local market on my third day that was just a few minutes away at donner that came in handy for emergency items. I would definitely recommend Leighanna’s home and I look forward to booking it again.

Blue Mountain Haus offers the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. With parking right in front of the unit and a shuttle to the village just two doors down. This beautifully remodeled unit in NorthStar at Tahoe feels like home. Thoughtfully decorated, it offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed for the family chef, seamlessly connecting to the dining and family rooms for quality time together. The cozy living room features ample seating, a gas fireplace, and stunning snow-capped hillside views. A quaint balcony with a bistro table is perfect for coffee, wine, or simply enjoying the scenery. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with plush mattresses, soft linens, and fresh pillows. A stocked laundry area with new machines keeps up with outdoor adventures. Thoughtful details and communicative hosts made this our most memorable vacation rental. We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights and honestly, we wished we could have stayed longer! The home is absolutely beautiful—especially the deck, which offers stunning views of the lake. We spent so much time soaking in the scenery. Inside, the living room was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is in a peaceful, secluded neighborhood, but still so close to everything you need in Tahoe City. This was our first summer trip to Lake Tahoe, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the views to the comfort and convenience, it was the perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The cabin was exactly like the photos and was perfect for our family. The kids loved the ping pong table and other games, and we also enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The town of Truckee is very close and has great shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again if and when we return.

The cabin was in a great neighborhood, surrounded by trees and very quiet. The location was great for accessing hiking trails, and it was also easy to get to restaurants in Truckee. The cabin layout felt spacious, and the little upstairs reading nook was great for relaxing and reading in the early morning.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Our 3 year old loved all of the toys in the kids room and it was very helpful to have a guava travel crib for our 5 month old so we didn’t have to bring ours. It was snowing when we arrived but the driveway was clear and the snowplow came again later that night so it was easy to get around. Great location and would highly recommend!

Our four-night stay at Laurie’s place at the Marriott Grand Residence Club was perfect for our family. The two-bedroom residence was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a full kitchen, spacious living area, and comfortable beds—ideal for a relaxing getaway. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Heavenly Gondola, restaurants, and shops, making everything easily accessible without needing a car. The heated pool, hot tubs, and common laundry added extra convenience, and the friendly staff ensured a seamless stay. For families seeking comfort, space, and top-notch convenience, this is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. I really enjoyed the openness of the living room and kitchen area. I also really enjoyed the patio and the hot tub. I really liked the comforter set I got to sleep with. Overall It was a great place to stay! I highly recommend it!

Great location. The two bedroom suite was very comfortable and spacious. Very nice having 2 bathrooms as well. The indoor pool was great, as were the multiple hot tubs. Great place to stay, would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful stay for a group of 8 there for snowboarding. It had all of my “musts”: 1. Convenient access to village/gondola - using the Northstar app you can request the bus to come right in front of the house 2. Great, spacious, well equipped/updated kitchen with big dining table - we love cooking our family style breakfasts and dinners 3. Multiple rooms and bathrooms - each room had its own full bathroom! 4. Big, functioning hot tub that was right there on the deck and easy to get to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my family’s first stay in Lake Tahoe. The cabin was as described and very welcoming. The location was great since we wanted to stay away from South Lake Tahoe so we were close to Tahoe City, beaches and hikes. Molly was also very responsive and the kitchen was very well stocked.

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

Beautiful cabin in the woods with comfortable beds and relaxing hot tub. Hot tub was already warm when we arrived and no extra charge to use the hot tub. Wonderful kitchen where we made breakfast and we went out to dinner at local restaurants. About 10 mins away from Boreal and Donner Ski Ranch and close to several other Tahoe Ski resorts. We woke up to several cute chipmunks running in the snow right outside the sliding door. Would go back.

If you’re looking for a peaceful nature retreat with friends and family—or a private, romantic escape to recharge with your partner—stop scrolling and book this place. You won’t find a better value, a more charming historic cabin, or a more thoughtful host near Truckee and Lake Tahoe. It was a one-of-a-kind stay we’re really glad we experienced.

If you are looking for a retreat this is the place. The waterfront backyard makes leaving difficult. Love the place and can't wait to return.
