Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Trumpington

We have just spent a long weekend at Ashmi's lovely house with our children, their partners and our grandchildren. The house was well equipped for all our needs and the welcome pack was well received. We loved the hot tub which we used several times during our stay. We spent a day at Duxford Airfield which is literally 10 mins down the road. If I had to say anything that could be improved it would be that maybe a few more pillows could be provided as some of the group struggled with just one pillow each, but it certainly didn't affect our enjoyment. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a large house to spend time with either family or friends.

FANTASTIC stay! The photos don't do the Grange justice - it is charming, cozy, grand - the perfect place to relax, and absolutely idyllic with baby lambs, luscious gardens all around, and many amenities and conveniences a short drive away. Anthony was an incredibly kind and gracious host and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a historic home. The kitchen was very well stocked. The bathrooms were spacious and functional. We had absolutely everything we needed. Truly so grateful!

everything you need and fantastic location for the city shops and restaurants

We returned to this accomodation after staying in it a couple of years ago as we really appreciated the flexible check in and how beautiful the location/ barn were. Extremely peaceful area and very clear instructions on how to find/ get in - would highly recommend.

To be honest I don't like leaving the type of review that I'm about to. The reason being that the Roundhouse was so wonderful that what I am about to write may make it harder to book again, as everyone should stay there at least once! The property is even more unique, and beautiful, than it looks in the photos. It may be hundreds of years old but it felt like home the second we walked in through the great, big, front door. All the creature comforts that a couple could need for a short break were there, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It has to be said that I think the shower alone was worth the price we paid for the weekend as it was the perfect strength and temperature in a lovely large enclosure. If you ever want to actually leave the property there is a short stroll back along the road to Finchingfield. The village is the definition of picture postcard. There are numerous places to eat but I highly recommend the homemade pizzas at the Finchingfield Lion!!

A lovely place and it made for a smooth stay and convenient for the rural drive along to Duxford (about 10 mins). There are peaceful walks on the doorstep and it’s about a 10 min. walk to The Pheasant pub (good food/drinks). It was a hot week and the little room did get very toasty but the fan helped (and was quiet enough for night time use). Also the park & ride was ideal (the Trumpington one) and stopped at the beautiful botanic gardens in Cambridge which we’d highly recommend for a great picnic and a relax. Would recommend this place…Jemma & the little dogs were lovely hosts and we’d like to return sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The studio is in an idyllic location in the quiet countrywide with a lovely village pub within a couple of minutes walk. It was well equipped and the bed was very comfy. We loved having fresh eggs for breakfast on the patio over looking the chickens and alpacas! Really easy to get into Hitchin and would definitely come back in the future.

What a lovely gem to stay in with friends for a weekend away in Cambridge. It was a bit further than we thought from the Center but we did walk it which was fine. The home was extremely clean, instructions to check in and check out was easy, was in a peaceful area, amenities were great. We even asked for a slightly later check out which they were very helpful with.

Excellent location. We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. We loved the outlook over Midsummer Common and watching the docile cows freely grazing. Great river walks. We had everything we needed for our two night stay. Many thanks.

We normally stay in central Cambridge and Sarah’s place was a nice change and a great opportunity to discover a new area. The place is exactly as described; we enjoyed the 30 minute walk into town along the river and it was lovely to be able to walk along the tow path in the other direction too.

Amanda’s place is wonderful It always seem to exceed our expectations.

The flat is in a lovely, peaceful corner of central Cambridge next to the Botanic Gardens and at walking distance into town. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and responsive. The small flat is laid out over two storeys with a spacious, tastefully arranged bedroom. Would use again.

Lovely clean apartment thoughtfully decorated and fitted out above the historic and charming Blue Ball Inn. A modern bathroom attached to each of the 2 sizeable bedrooms, fab views across the peaceful rural countryside, friendly staff in the pub which had a convivial atmosphere and terrific food. Five stars all round.

Lovely flat in a really good location close to the train station and a 20min walk to City Centre.

This place is a gem. Everything was so wonderful, super clean, and the host was so responsive and helpful. As long as you have a car, this is a wonderful place. During the summer, the apartment can get very hot, so be mindful of the temperature during summer. I highly recommend this place!

Lovely accommodation, spotless and comfortable. Perfect for a quiet stay, but close to Cambridge, Ely. and Newmarket. Visited Denny Abbey (an English Heritage property). Welcome gift of crumpets, coffee and milk - thank you! Good communication with host. Would definitely book again if I was in the area. Highly recommend.

Had a great stay at Susan’s. The place is beautifully presented and very clean. Susan also left some chocolate and snacks which is very nice. She is a great communicator. Highly recommend her place!
