Skier's View

Excellent view of the Valley and Mountains! You’ll love my place because of the great view, large charcoal grill, nice deck with full-sized picnic table and Adirondack chairs, comfy beds, the well-equipped kitchen, artisan and fun decorations and location in the middle of the Valley. You get the place for yourself and guests -- I will not be there. My place is good for couples, families, groups, and well-behaved dogs. (No cats allowed due to allergies.) Home is in a quiet rural spot.

It is perfect for a honeymoon or romantic getaway in the West Virginia mountains. The bathroom has heated tile flooring, a heated towel rack and a walk-in tile shower for two with body sprays. The open loft's game room includes a 4x8 pool table and hockey arcade. A Jacuzzi hot tub sits on a private deck ready for your enjoyment!

Located in a historic building on the main drag and adorned with 135-year old hardwood floors, original woodwork, local art, huge rain shower, and forest views - this tastefully styled flat feels like being transported to a 19th century boarding house. With espresso, galleries, live music, shops, food, and drinks steps away, you have the forests and a tiny cityscape just steps out your door. The Cub House

No matter the season, there is always something for everyone in Canaan Valley and at Black Bear Woods Resort. Skiing, hiking, fishing, skating, just relaxing, and more. VEHICLE NOTES: **If you have an electric vehicle, DO NOT plug it into any of the house outlets. The house fuses will blow. There are level 2 charging stations nearby but no level 3s.
