Jan thought of every little detail to make our stay comfortable—from the welcoming touches to the fresh eggs and wine waiting for us in the kitchen. Meeting the dogs and horses were an absolute delight and added to the charm of our stay. The house and grounds were exactly as listed—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for stargazing at night. The towels and bedding were top-notch, with a thread count that rivaled luxury hotels, making it easy to settle in and get a restful night’s sleep. The location is a perfect base for exploring the area. We did day hikes at White Sands, explored Lincoln National Forest, and enjoyed scenic canyon trails nearby. Whether you're cooking in—Jan’s kitchen setup is excellent—or heading out to eat, you’ll have great options. Don’t miss PistachioLand; their ice cream is a must-try!

We really enjoyed our stay - we weren’t expecting the little extras including a fully stocked kitchen with spices and even tennis rackets for the nearby courts! We also greatly enjoyed the sleds at the dunes. Plenty of room for our family of four and doggy friend.
