It is a lovely place with everything you’ll need and the host is a very nice and helpful person. The airbnb is not too far from the city.

This cottage is absolute perfection. We felt at home immediately and were so comfortable. The space is beautiful and everything about it was thoughtfully done. Absolutely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This was a bucket list trip to Ireland from Canada. 2 coworker/friends going on a walking tour in Ireland. Day 2, fell off a curb and broke my ankle and tore tendons. Not an easy feat; to continue to plan this Castle stay. But? WORTH it. The best thing we did while in Ireland was this place. Not on my cars GPS but on my iPhone Google maps (as he mentioned)- castle was in pristine shape. Check-in was easy. Kitchen appliances worked great. Definitely off the beaten path and surrounded by farmland and trees. The peace we had been looking for. There’s a guest book sign in; which was almost as great as the castle! The local dog met us on a short hop down the driveway. Pull the string in the bathroom to get the shower going. Minimal to no wifi on the roof; best in the library. Was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. Bed comfy. Just not enjoyable with a broken ankle. Doable. But since the bathroom is on the third floor? I stayed there a lot. Pricey for my pocketbook; but WOW!

I can’t say enough good things about Carol and Christie‘s hospitality. They were wonderful hosts, and obviously took great care of their beautiful home and gardens. Our family spent as much time as the rain would allow in the back garden and had great fun. Our second day, our 2-year-old grandson needed medical attention, and Carol sent her friend Fran to help us through the medical system. She was wonderful! We would highly recommend Toad Hall to anyone, especially family groups. Our family of 4 adults and 3 kids were very happy here.
