Birders and hikers will love how close this is to the Anza trail and the many opportunities to see birds. Stargazers will love the Tubac area as it is a "dark sky area"! No kitchen. This spacious guesthouse is in an ideal rural setting. Located near the Mexican border, the art community at Tubac, and the old Spanish mission of Tumacacori, there is lots to see and do. (Not to mention many good golf courses.) I am looking forward to your visit! To make your stay both pleasant and sanitary I steam clean floors, sani-wash all linens and towels, and wipe counters, sinks and toilet with sanitizer spray. Rest easy here!

Staying at Alanna's felt like staying at the house of a friend who adores you - and has Martha Stewart-level hosting skills, someone who really has gone above and beyond. As to the basics: the home was clean, welcoming, and charming. The sheets were incredibly soft, the bed incredibly comfortable, the shower was spacious with good water, the kitchen had everything we needed. But what really set this apart from all other Airbnbs I have stayed at (and hotels and resorts, for that matter), were all the incredibly thoughtful touches--not just a dental kit (which was clutch due to a packing snafu), but also folded robes and chocolates on a tray on the bed, homemade body scrub (!), face masks, a fully stocked coffee setup with jazzy Nespresso machine, caramel and vanilla syrups, and a milk frother, and many thoughtful snacks and beverages. It truly was a delightful place to stay, and Alanna was very responsive for every request and patient with my fumbles about checkin details.

Wisdom's Casita near Tubac Anza Trail private yard

We enjoyed our stay at Celeste’s casita. The place was well appointed with kitchen tools and stocked with extra items in case we ran out of that item…such as paper towels. The place is painted a lively and lovely Southwestern/Mexico feel. Although w gave Celeste and her casita 5 stars, there are a few things to know. The kitchen is small so a stove top was eliminated, instead there is a two burner hot plate. We did use that for the first 4 days…was tricky getting used to cooking on the hot plate. There is also no garbage disposal so we made sure to empty out the sieve in the sink. The parking is good with a rock lined driveway. Their restaurant is across the street and gets really busy so people park their cars on our side of the street. A relief to have a delineated parking space, I appreciated all the communication with Celeste. She was prompt in answering questions. The bed was comfortable which made for a good night’s rest. Very positive experience with Celeste and her casita
