Characterful, cosy and central.

I loved this place! One of my favourite experiences on Airbnb so far. Back to the original ethos of staying in someone's home (while the host is away) -- and it's such a charming home! Very clean, very comfortable, with a lovely style of its own. The kitchen has everything you need and the shower is great. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom is so quiet, at the back of the house, that you don't need earplugs (very rare for me). The road outside is the living room is more lively at weekends but nothing extreme. The location is incredibly close to the shops and cultural venues of TW. The owner answered any questions and everything worked well on arrival in the apartment. My stay here was too short! It would have been lovely to stay longer :-)

Luxury Studio-incredible view-peaceful getaway

LouiseRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Can highly recommend a stay at Roberta's lovely property, it has everything needed for a few days away. Peaceful with great views & garden to enjoy. The studio is beautifully done, with very comfy large bed & chairs for relaxing in. Bonus of proper large bath towels! The few breakfast bits, water & fresh milk were very welcome. Good instructions on how to use everything & helpful details on the area etc. Also had a cooling unit which was very needed in the warm weather, as whilst all the glass gives wonderful views, it is also makes it very warm. Got some wonderful strawberries for breakfast from the local run village shop. Did not need to ask Roberta for anything but felt from communication beforehand that nothing would have been too much trouble.

Such a lovely host! Beautiful accommodation, so conveniently located for exploring Tunbridge Wells. Full of little details to make your stay perfect and help you feel at home. the bed is also particularly comfortable, and despite being the hottest night of the year so far, very well ventilated. Thank you very much and will certainly stay again when I visit family in the area!

Lizzie's apartment is absolutely beautiful. Communication was excellent and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic - on a really quiet road but so close to amazing shops and cafes. Everything in the apartment was so clean and the bed so comfortable. I will definitely stay again!

Studio with separate kitchen & own outside space!

SheilaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Charlotte's place was perfect for my needs. Cleverly and, I would say, lovingly converted from their original garage and utility room, it provided a comfy double bed, sofa, , TV, shower room and a very well equipped kitchen. Lots of attention to detail, including beautifully made wooden items such as the bed frame, lamps side tables and toys. It felt a very pleasant space. As a more elderly, solo traveller it was reassuring to know that Charlotte was next door if I needed help or advice. She couldn't have been more helpful - picked me up from the station, explained the workings of the studio (twice in the case of the, for me, rather complicated microwave, supplying illustrated instructions via phone) and was a mine of local information, whilst never being intrusive. I explored the area by bus and train, visiting a different historic house /National Trust property each day. Using public transport was challenging, but with careful research and lots of helpful people, it worked.

The Games Room

We had a lovely weekend. The view is really beautiful which makes it very hard to leave the balcony! The studio is also very comfortable and has everything you could need while staring out the huge windows. We also enjoyed being able to go for local walks and to the Mayfield pubs. A really great place in a beautiful spot.
