Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tunturi-Lappi

We spent 2 nights in Sanna's house and everything was perfect. Before you even arrived, communication with Sanna was very quick and easy. Her house is very nice, very well decorated and filled with little touches. The sauna is a real plus. This is the first time I've stayed with someone else and felt so good there. There are people who have a sense of service and Sanna is definitely one of them. I can only recommend, everything was just perfect.

Fantastic house, very good facilities, beautiful view with wild animals. This is in a nice central location. Only for us, the beds were a bit on the soft side.

The house is simply fantastic and perfect. The location is beautifully situated on the (frozen) lake with great views. In winter you are right on the cross-country ski trail for a round of cross-country skiing or for a nice walk. In the evening you can look at the northern lights virtually from the sofa or you walk a few meters to the frozen lake. The house is very well furnished and exceptionally well equipped. We felt right at home and the house had everything we needed. The jacuzzi and sauna made the house perfect for us. We were 9th and the house is also highly recommended for a large group.

We thank Matti and Marita for the nice time in the house and will be very happy to come back. It was totally relaxing and we felt at home from the 1st second. The house is very cozy and warm, perfectly clean and the bathroom was newly renovated with foot underfloor heating and anything that makes it pleasant. The sauna was great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The internet was very fast and is fast enough to work from there if you have to. We enjoyed the trip to the reindeer, the cross-country skis and recovered very well during long walks in the woods. The hosts were always approachable and totally helpful. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about Lapland and Finland. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Jan's place. Jan always responded quickly, which made the trip super easy! It was a great coziness, which was really good. The cabin had everything we needed :)

Very nice cottage in the middle of trees, snow, close to the lake . Almost a postcard . We loved its authentic family home character, and the beautiful old brick "stove" that almost gave us the regret of not being able to use the built-in old wood stove. Certainly the decor is not modern, but it is precisely what gives it its charm and which we liked. The house is spacious, very functional with a kitchen equipped to cook , as well as all the small food left available in the closet and fridge . Nothing is missing for our comfort. Plan to heat the wood sauna about 1 hour before use . Don't forget to always take the keys before you leave because the door slams and we're locked out! (There may be a way to do it, but we still haven't understood how the locks work...) The lake is within walking distance but you have to do a little detour as access to the end of the street is private .

A lovely old cottage renovated with good taste in a quiet location. The chickens were clucking in the yard and the owner was really nice. The evening sun shone beautifully inside and in the morning we went to the sauna. Really neat and all the amenities were found. I have to come again!

Everything was perfect! Very responsive host. Entire cottage located near the center of Akasalompo in the middle of fir trees and in a very pleasant setting. The accommodation was true to the description, well-equipped and very clean. I would recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Excellent accommodation; close to everything, host was flexible with departure time, communication was great, check-in was easy, and everything was tiptop in the apartment.

We were completely satisfied with our choice of accommodation. All our program points were within walking distance thanks to the central location! The apartment is very well equipped (especially the kitchen). As a host, Hanne was always very quick to write back if we had any questions. She also asked in between if we had any questions or anything like that. We had a great vacation and can only recommend Hanne with her apartment!

Toni’s apartment was in a great location, a close walk to the ski lifts and plenty of restaurants and cafes. It had everything we needed and Toni was really helpful when answering any of our questions and giving recommendations. We would really recommended and love to return :)

This lovely apartment was right next to the ski trails and within walking distance of restaurants and ski slopes. The listing was just as it's described. We stayed with four adults and the space was good, I'm sure it was great for a family with children. The apartment was clean and had everything you need to cook. We stayed over Easter, definitely at the busiest time, but the area was peaceful. We thought this place was an excellent value for the price and location. The hosts were also friendly and communication was smooth.

We only stayed at Ismo's for two days to explore Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. It was beautiful but far too short. Ismo's house fully met our expectations, we felt very comfortable right away. Ismo was available at all times and responded quickly to our questions. Overall a perfect stay.

We have spent a full week at Antti’s place and would happily go back. The apartament has everything you need, is clean and in a great location. Antti is great to communicate with! The only thing that could have been slightly better is the sofa in the living room is not particularly comfortable but for a short stay it’s absolutely fine. As I said I would happily book again. 5 stars from our family!

Petri's apartment was very comfortable. The equipment of the kitchen as well as the rest of the apartment was also very good. The center as well as many restaurants is in walking distance. Many winter activities (cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ski-Doo) were also very quick to reach.

Good instructions and clear communication. The location was good, the apartment was very clean and there was a good store right next door.

A fantastic, fully equipped accommodation in an enchanting forest location. The kitchen and all the utensils it contains offer the possibility of completely independent self-catering, the bedroom and the beds are cozy, the indoor sauna provides boundless relaxation and the washing machine and dryer allow you to take care of your textiles when you return home after demanding hikes or sports activities. Päivi is also a hostess, as a guest could only wish for: infinitely lovable and friendly, always easy to reach and charming in communication. We therefore lacked nothing during our stay and we would be happy to be Päivi's guests again at any time and recommend Päivi's cottage without reservation. Apartment in a beautiful, peaceful location. You can easily access the trail by bike or on foot from the yard. The apartment had everything you needed, beautiful decor and good beds. Also, no strong-smelling detergents are used in the apartment, so it is suitable for those who are sensitive to fragrances. Recycling points nearby. We loved the apartment and the place so much that we would like to come back here again.

Great location, and little noise. Great common room!

Just 5 mins drive away from town! Away from all the noise and yet not too far away from town. Better to have a car as there is a private carpark provided. Nice view from the yard as well. Will definitely be back.

Excellent stay near Kilpisjärvi, the accommodation was great for 6 people. We would have stayed longer with pleasure!

Convenient accommodation to the supermarket and restaurants, two minutes from the entrance of the cross-country slopes, quiet area. Very clean when we arrive, it has everything you need for a great stay! Johanna was very friendly in her responses and quick to support! Highly recommended for those of us who have done a week of cross-country skiing on these wonderful slopes!
