Holiday houses in Tweed

4 cousins in our late 50's for a 3 night stay. We have been doing this annually for 30+ years. I can honestly say this has been one of the all-time best stays. The manual in the cottage highlights all of the things to visit & do within 30 minutes. Tweed & Madoc may not have many options for roadhouse & higher-end restaurants but Belleville is a quick 30 minute drive with tons of options. That didn't matter to us as we bought groceries & enjoyed salads, meats & chacuterie because we didn't want to leave the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen is fully equipped whether you do gourmet or quick meals. The kitchen table was perfect to gather around for meals, games and gabbing. The living room & outdoor living space were cozy, comfy & beautifully decorated. The entire house decor was stunning. Minimal & gorgeous. The outdoor & indoor fireplaces add to the coziness. The outdoor ping pong table, inflatable boat and kayaks looked brand new. Running out of space; so much more to say...dang 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely come back and recommend it to others!

This was our first time glamping, and it couldn't have been more perfect. My husband wanted the outdoorsy camping feel, and I was looking for something more aesthetic and luxurious—this place gave us the best of both worlds. The space was quiet, cozy, and beautifully set up. It felt like our own little hideaway, peaceful and private, yet thoughtfully prepared with every detail in mind. The hosts communicated everything clearly and respectfully, which made us feel both welcomed and left alone to enjoy the experience. It was truly a magical night away—exactly what we needed. Highly recommend for couples looking to unplug and reconnect.

As I sat by the river's edge, the soothing sounds of nature – crickets, birds, and the gentle rush of the water – enveloped me in tranquility. The warmth of a crackling fire and the comfort of a cozy setting made for a truly unforgettable retreat. This hidden gem is the perfect haven for those seeking a peaceful escape from the world.

Beyond my hopes! 😁 This was absolutely one of the most beautiful locations we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing!!! The pictures don't do the setting and the wagon justice! Everything was pristine and meticulously thought-out. Even though the weather was cool there were plenty of blankets, board games and puzzles to stay inside and cozy. Fabulous hosts! Jess and Josh were welcoming, kind and loved talking about the area they live and work in. Now we're contemplating moving to the area too lol👍 We'll definitely be back!!!

Our stay at the Tiny Village, Dome was absolutely wonderful! The space was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The shower was a standout feature--modern and refreshing--while the large deck provided the perfect spot to savor our morning coffee, all while taking in the breathtaking view. One of the best parts of our visit was how dog-friendly the place is. We never travel without our 2 little Shih Tzu's, and seeing them enjoying themselves, made our experience even more special. Knowing that our pup's were welcome was a huge bonus for us! The dock on the water below the Dome was a fantastic addition to the getaway. Even though the water in May was a bit chilly, it didn’t stop a few of us from jumping in! Luckily, the cozy campfire afterward made for the perfect way to warm up. The Dome is an absolute gem-offering relaxation, nature, and unforgettable moments. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway

We had an amazing weekend at this cabin! I stayed with my wife and son, and we all had a fantastic time. The place had everything we needed-fully equipped, cozy, and super clean. The sunsets were absolutely incredible and made each evening unforgettable. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The host was excellent-very responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We would absolutely love to come back!

Beautiful getaway spot, private, and very peaceful. Lots of lovely wildlife around the area, just be prepared for all the bugs!
