Comfortable, clean second floor condo a short drive from Bayfield with wooded view from kitchen window. Working jacuzzi and adequate cooking supplies. Jon was quick to respond to questions.

The place was lovely! You can see the lake out of the back door. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. The front bedroom was also lovely. Thanks for hosting us!

Guy golf trip, eight of us went and the house was perfect. Enjoyed the views and playing cards on the big table. Biwabik Pizza is the greatest! Only five minutes away We would go back again

We had a wonderful family get-away and Rick's home was the ideal place to stay! The location was perfect. The views of the lake were spectacular and the home was cozy with many thoughtful amenities.

The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. Also, it is incredibly close to one of the alpine ski lofts for Giants Ridge (literally right across the street). We will definitely stay again!

It was a perfect place for a get-a-away! Clean and comfortable and the option of kitchenware was sufficient for some basic cooking. I would definitely recommend for a single person or a couple, maybe not for a family with multiple children; everything is so close together it would be hard to not wake up the kids or vs-versa.

Jereme, was so helpful with all aspects of our 4 night stay at this Beautiful spot near the Poplar River. Skiing out was a breeze and we had enough snow to ski all the way back as well. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool at Caribou and everyone enjoyed this wonderful skiing experience. Great host and great spot at Lutsen Mountains!

Lisa's cabin is located in a very private and peaceful place off a dirt road just a few minutes from the interstate. The space is comfy, the surroundings are beautiful, and the location is good for heading into the North Country. My wife and I really enjoyed the privacy of lying in the hot tub at night looking up at the stars and walking down to the lake to see the serene nature scenes. We hope to stay here again.

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

It's always enjoyable having a host that communicates effectively; Kaity was one of those hosts. Her welcome note was thorough and provided all the information we needed for both check-in and check-out. The home is adorable. The massive windows in the main gathering space gave you the 'full north woods' feel. Kitchen is smallish but we certainly appreciated how well stocked it was with all the appropriate cooking utensils. Providing a drip coffee pot and pour over was a great touch; we used them both. Bed mattresses were awesome - nice and firm. We were there for the mountain biking and boy did we have fun on so many of the nearby trails. Bottom line: It's a nice place to getaway to.

We had a very fun time and Keith and Sara were helpful when we had any questions. The area is beautiful and canoeing on the lake is a must!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect—just a short drive to Grand Marais, but far enough out to really feel like you're up north. It was peaceful and scenic, a great little getaway. We also really appreciated that it's pet-friendly. Just a heads-up for anyone with a large dog: the stairs are quite steep, so keep that in mind. Overall, a cozy and relaxing spot!

Super cozy and fun spot just a few minutes from downtown grand marais! We had a great time staying at this Airbnb while hiking some segments of the superior hiking trail. The space was cozy and we loved the fire, the comfy beds, and the chickens. We would definitely stay again!

The cabin is big, plenty of room for a large family. Lots of things to do both inside & outside. It's a quiet location. Not far from a small grocery place & fuel if needed. I enjoyed coffee in the sunroom every morning while watching for wildlife! Owners answer any questions quickly & efficiently.

Loved our week at the cabin! We went hiking most of the days and lucked out with the weather the first half of the week. We spent our downtime in the cabin playing games and doing lots of puzzles. The best part was witnessing all of the wildlife that we saw down by the Marengo river such as deer, coyotes, and our favorite: the mama black bear and her cubs! Would love to relax here again!

Where to start? Larry, this was so far and above what we expected! The house and furnishings were beautiful! We have a sleep number bed at home, but the beds were so comfortable we didn't even miss it! You have the house so well stocked with supplies it unbelievable. And the view! WOW! It's super hard to please 6 adults, but you did! We were at an assembly over the weekend and told people about how amazing your place is, and they all wanted to know where it was and how to rent it! Honestly, we didn't want to tell them because it feels like we found a shining gem and didn't want to tell!! If you'll have us again, we would LOVE to rent from you again! What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. Thanks so much for a great place to stay...we've already recommended you to a number of friends :)

we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

Can’t say enough great things about this cabin. Such cute decor, clean as a whistle, such a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, awesome location. We would head back in a second!

Thank you Shawn, Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable. All in working order. The view is spectacular. We so enjoyed the deck overlooking the Lake...peaceful. We were here for the golf and it did not disappoint. Two are in the top 100 public golf courses. We will make this trip again and definitely stay here.
