Located in the countryside yet very close to Canterbury , University & Whitstable. This room is completely private and not overlooked, with its own private patio. Connected to the house but with its own entrance . A great place to unwind but also convenient for all of Canterbury's many attractions. Breakfast is left for you in the kitchen to be prepared by yourself at leisure. The breakfast is as listed; tea or coffee, toast and butter and two types of jam and granola . We allow one good dog .

Wonderful room perfectly located for Canterbury West station & a Sainsbury's supermarket 10 mins walk away. For the more prudish people like myself, the window had no net curtains and faced a driveway & main road but easily solved by closing the curtains. Room was very clean and really appreciated the privacy of being able to let yourself in and out without interaction - dream come true! Although you are in a family home it was nice & quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Anne was a lovely host. I stayed for 5 days and went to a different show at the Canterbury Festival each evening. I worked from my room during the day & Anne kindly provided a desk & chair for me. The location was perfect for all the different venues I went to - only ever a 25 minute walk max 😊

A lovely place to stay. Unfortunately I only had a limited time there, literally arrived late and left just after rush hour. But I would have liked to have had the opportunity to explore the area more. The accommodation was first class, very comfortable and very quiet, a secluded setting. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

We had a lovely weekend at Herne Bag. Clive’s place was the perfect fusion of amenities, ambiance and proximity to the Beach. He was very sweet and helpful right from making the booking to bidding goodbye! We would definitely visit again. This place has our heart!

Suzi was a super welcoming host, very friendly, we had a good time chatting. She is a host with very good advice about activities, historical monuments, restaurants, pubs nearby, she even took me on a hike with her walking group, with whom I had a super nice time, everyone was lovely. The bedroom and bathroom (private) were impeccably clean and very spacious. I highly recommend Suzi's accommodation, you won't be disappointed.
