The farm is located in the village of Tzummarum, 2 km from the Wadden Sea. Here you will find peace and greenery. Many opportunities to explore Friesland. Very spacious farmhouse with lots of living space. A large garden for outdoor play: badminton, trampoline, swings. Many sunny seating areas from the garden and rooms overlooking the meadows. Dit schattige witte huisje met een rieten dak is als uit een sprookjesboek! Alsof je even echt woont in authentiek Giethoorn. (Noord) De bootjes zijn te huur bij de buren en de prachtige bruggetjes zijn te vinden op maar 6 minuten lopen. Hier is Giethoorn ontstaan en staan de oudste huisjes aan het pad. Zonder hordes toeristen. (Die zitten in Giethoorn Zuid) Hier heerst nog heerlijke rust en de schoonheid van het oude dorp Giethoorn. Helaas niet geschikt voor baby's/kinderen van 0 tot 8.

You are welcome to stay on our organic snowdrop farm all year round. From December through April you will be able to enjoy thousands of snowdrops, stinsenplants, and a free tour around the nursery. We are far from the hustle and bustle of the city but still within easy reach of local towns, villages and attractions. The farm is a beautiful and quiet spot, in the middle of the Noord-Holland countryside of the Wieringermeer polder. Our own small green piece of paradise. We hope to see you soon!

The Landscape

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Grand Canal House in Harlingen

The house offers three bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. It’s understated elegant interiors have been published in the UK House and Garden and the Residence interior magazines. Guests get to use the grand blue room with velvet clad walls and the souterrain kitchen with wood burning stove. There is a peaceful city garden with BBQ and outdoor seating. In the winter one can enjoy cosy evenings besides the various fireplaces, long dinners in the kitchen or baths in one of the bathrooms.

Maak hier met de hele familie of vrienden gezelschap mooie herinneringen. Met de privé Jacuzzi in de omheinde achtertuin is het aangenaam toeven. Voor iedere nieuwe boeking wordt de jacuzzi gereinigd en voorzien van volledig nieuw warm water. De Infrarood en Finse Sauna in de kelder maken deze Wellness Villa compleet. Bereid een heerlijke maaltijd in de keuken en proef de gezelligheid aan de grote eettafel. Op drie van de vijf ruime slaapkamers kan een babybedje worden bijgeplaatst.

A beautiful new detached villa in a beautiful setting with complete privacy. During your stay in this spacious, soothing accommodation, you will forget all your worries. A Jacuzzi, sauna, sunbed and electric box springs ensure that you can relax in a beautiful environment! Everything is just new and equipped with every comfort. As can be seen in the photos, there is a shed behind the house. This will not bother you, there is little to no movement and certainly not at night.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.
