The indoor area of "Ming Mei Jia" is about 120 square meters. In spring and autumn, you can sit in the courtyard and count the stars and chat with friends over tea. • The single house type is as follows: Ground floor: 1. The large room can accommodate 3-4 people. 2. Standard room, can accommodate 1-2 people. 3. Bathroom, washbasin, kitchen, toilet. 2ND FLOOR. 1. Standard room for 2 people. 2. Nishimura-tei Hanare - 100-year-old old house with a kitchen & dining room

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
