This place is truly unique. It's a get away space for musicians who share it when they aren't using it. The place has been built up and settled in. It's gorgeous, the location and the barn architecture. But it's not uptight. It feels like late 60s - early 70s rock and roll, or like classic country music. Maddy's family has a phenomenal record collection and the stereo sounds SO good. The albums we brought came to life there. There's also an excellent book collection, lots of rock and music stuff but also philosophy, literature, eco books, and classic kids book (lots of kids books and a massive toy trunk with toys for kids of all ages!). The kitchen has got pretty much everything you need, and all the basic amenities and appliances. Around about are lots of area lamps, interesting hangings, colored glass, rugs, throws, and well cared for house plants. Finally, the pond and field have not been chemical killed. So, there are lots of birds, frogs, fish, and nests.

The Silversands lake house was the perfect getaway for our family's trip to Ithaca. It was extremely spacious and our large group had absolutely no issues feeling right at home. Logan was really accommodating and flexible with our group, overall he was such a great host! We'd definitely stay here again if we're ever in Lansing.

We booked this home after changing our trip dates and losing the original house we rented. Boy, was it worth it!! The home is Beautiful! The views, natural light, huge master bathroom, and the most comfortable couch were just some of our favorite things. One of the bedrooms had kids' books and toys, and it was perfect for our 4-year-old daughter. The owners' communication with us was at its best! We look forward to returning next year!

We loved this house! Exactly as described. Very clean, well maintained, cute decor with personal touches, but it’s the views that are incredible, beautiful, and peaceful. The location is stunning, and the amazing Taughannock Falls are less than a mile down the road. Andy was responsive, friendly and welcoming. We were in town for college graduation (IC or Cornell are about a 20 minute drive), with parents and grandparents. Was a great spot for all of us. When I asked if there was an iron (had to get those graduation clothes ready!), Andy made sure one was in the house for us when we got there. One thing to know - the beach and the dock are down a steep set of stairs. Andy offered use of his tram if we needed help getting down there, so that’s a nice option. There is a nice grassy area and dock by the water. I highly recommend this place!

This was a great house in a great location. Communication from owners was excellent, and house was well set up for guests. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Immediately felt right at home - everything was clean and comfortable. The welcome basket was a nice touch. Great location- quiet neighborhood and close to the state parks.

We just enjoyed our 4-night stay at the house with 6 adults and a 3-yr-old. It had “most” amenities, was close to Ithaca and spacious enough for our crew. Three of us ran the Ithaca Gorges Half Marathon this weekend so we chose this place bc it’s right next to the Black Diamond Trail, where the race is. Pros: ample parking, location, view, yard space, easiest check-in, right next to the Black Diamond Trail, have filtered water faucet, firepit / grill setup, Barry (host) was very responsive, lots of older books/games/DVDs in home. Cons: water smells like sulfur so laundry room smelled while doing laundry and the water was a little brown when we bathed our son in the tub (after its initial spurt of really brown water…rusty pipes?), had to dig around for more hand soap, toilet paper and hand towels, had to use a putty knife to cut a pizza, house wasn’t spotless clean, oven put off a strong gas smell. Overall it met our needs for the price, and we had a great time! Thanks Barry!

Jagadish's house is amazing. We stayed here for my daughter's graduation and love it. It is spacious and very clean. The gardens are stunning.

Richard is an excellent host! Easy check-in and check-out! The location is great! A quiet gate away, but about 10 10-minute drive to Cornell and Ithaca. The place is very clean and provides a lot of supplies, food, snacks, and necessities! Very thoughtful. The communication is excellent! Very clear instructions and very responsive Very pleasant stay!

Great location around lots of amazing hiking. The apartment felt private and had everything we needed. Shower pressure was amazing and we loved relaxing in the hot tub after a full day of hiking. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We visit the finger lakes region several times a year and this is space and location was a perfect fit for us. Friendly responsive host who has clear instructions to everything. A very clean, well supplied place.

Melissa is an absolutely amazing host! She not only provided some breakfast items, but also personally welcomed us in the evening with a warm introduction and thoughtful recommendations for local food and attractions. We truly loved her and appreciated everything she did for us. The house itself was incredibly cozy and filled with warmth—it’s clear that the owner has a deep love for life. There were beautiful flowers, charming decorations in every corner, and adorable Jellycat plushies that added a lovely touch. If our travel schedule had allowed, we would have loved to stay even longer.

Had a comfortable and peaceful 7 night stay at this lovely apartment. Theresa was friendly, left clear check-in/out instructions, and was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment was tidy and clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable week-long stay. The generous welcome basket was a nice touch. I also appreciated the safe, quiet neighborhood and easy drive to Cornell and nearby shopping/restaurants. Would stay again when in Ithaca!

Loved our stay at Allison's place. The lakefront location was unbeatable! Property was exactly as described. It was very spacious and comfortable. We hope to return!

We soent a couple days here and it was perfect for us. Easy to get to. Very clean and the neighborhood was nice to walk around and explore. Taste of Syracuse was an extra treat that was close by.

Rachel’s place was phenomenal! It was clean and cozy, and perfect for a quick escape from NYC. It was also close enough to be right in downtown Ithaca within minutes. I will definitely be back again!

This was a repeat visit and another great experience! The apartment was perfect, super convenient to our events and we again appreciated the convenience and excellent fare of the Rye and the Garage restaurants. THE place to stay in Elmira!

Comfortable space in great neighborhood. I arrived late at night and it was a bit stressful to find the door hidden in a little walkway but after that very easy to get in. The condo was nicely laid out and the location was fun- walkable restaurants and museums. Bathroom sink was clogged but it really didn’t bother me too much. Nice big washer and dryer and air conditioning to make the space very comfortable. It is on the street above lively bar scene but was pretty quiet inside.

Our family came in for a concert, and this location was perfect. Beautiful condo, with a perfect location on the lake. With access to the pool, hot tub, life sized chess board, gym and the lakeside trail, we were within steps of a brewery, salon, restaurants, playground and an ice cream shop. Within walking distance of CMAC -- which we saw many people do. No need to bring your own towels, the condo has 4 for your use. The owners were quick to respond when we weren't able to get the door open (trick: turn the lock all the way to the right and lift the door handle up as you open) and super kind/prompt if I had other questions. We'll def be back. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful place!

This was a great stay for us! Super easy to walk to anything downtown, and parking wasn’t too difficult to come by. Highly recommend, especially for anyone looking for a quick weekend getaway!
