A gorgeous gem of a place located a minute walk to the beach, yet tucked away from the hustle & bustle. This place really offered a sense of serenity nestled away… The apartment was spacious with an open plan kitchen, dining area, and veranda where you can sometimes see the kites flying, and was a great place to chill with friends. The dogs are adorable and made the place feel like home. With so many activities in Paje this place was a miracle find to be so central to all the tours and sports on the island 🏝️. Thank you 🙏

We stayed for 5 weeks (!) at Culture & Alessandra's place and we absolutely LOVED it. Although we booked another apartment, we were really happy with the one we got. The location is phenomenal, as it is literally less than 2 minutes walking to the beach. Yet it feels very private because the house is on a dead-end street. The apartment is simple, but fully equipped. We felt right at home. Alessandra is truly the very best and sweetest host you could wish for. She helped us a lot with renting a motorcycle, making restaurant reservations and even took us to the hospital when (unfortunately) needed. Their dog Bantu often walked with us to the beach or came to lay with us on the porch, so cozy! We did have some problems with the AC - we couldn't get the room cooler than 26 degrees and it often failed because of power cuts (a general electricity problem in Zanzibar). Funny enough, 5 weeks still felt too short, so we hope to come back and then we will definitely stay here again.

Vuai’s place was very very nice, almost in front of the beach, in a safe, chill, and nice neighborhood, with a local minimarket nearby, and only 10 mins from Kuza Cave and 15 mins from Paje. The kitchen had everything one could need and the bathroom was very clean and nice.

This is a fantastic place to stay! Saidi was excellent with communication. The area is fantastic to relax and he was so helpful with checkout and very reliable. My favorite stay in Zanzibar 😍

Wanted a place to chill in Zanzy for 2 weeks. Kept searchingAirbnb for weeks. Millions of places out there but this unit kept coming up took it. No regrets at all. Yolanda’s place was fantastic. very well equipped and comfortable apartment and above all very well located a few steps from Paje beach and its center too. the host was adorable and very friendly. he knows absolutely everything on Paje what to do and what to avoid. I was very well assisted and I will defenitly book his place next time i go to Paje again.

Wow! My wife and I had booked an Airbnb months ago and last minute the host canceled. We began to panic since our trip was only weeks away and we have 3 kids (5, 7, and 10). We contacted Jan who answered so many of our questions. Once we arrived the place was minutes walking to the beach! Also, the area was very safe and quiet. There were many children and locals who greeted us every morning. Our first night we stayed on the beach and a local dug us a bonfire in the sand and helped us home when we got lost. We shared the property with his family and another guest who were all lovely and played bachata at night! Every morning the house help Ms K made us fresh juice, cleaned our room, and made us breakfast. She was wonderful! The driver that Jan sent to pick us at the airport was amazing! And we paid him to take us to Memba island and a really nice sandbank with seafood lunch. The only con was the 3rd bed did not have a mosquito net. Which was okay because my kids just shared a bed.

Perfect spot for a group! The villa is beautiful, clean, and has great common areas to relax together. The host was super responsive and friendly, and the staff provided top-notch service. We especially loved the delicious included breakfast. Clean rooms, clean pool — everything was just right. Highly recommend!

Jerome was a great host, very responsive and proactive he accommodated all our needs. The house is magical, located in a local villa, is very private and one minute walking from a beautiful beach and some hotels where you can spend the day or have a nice meal. Also ver spacious the house can accommodated numerous people comfortable. We loved the pool where you can hang out listening to the birds. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful home in the heart of nature. Recently built Manuela's house is very comfortable and its garden with pool very nice! Manuela and her team are very attentive so that everything is pleasant during the stay. Note that the house is a 12-minute walk from the sea. A beautiful walk on a small path lined with palm trees.

Host Manager Ijob is just great. Did our shopping for us. Was always on site. Extremely friendly 👍 The cleaning lady Doris is also very conscientious. In the event of problems (power failure, little water), for which he can't do anything, he immediately tried to find solutions and, if possible, also dealt with them immediately.

This villa is a real gem! Perched facing the sea, it offers a breathtaking view - impossible to get tired of, we were literally hypnotized by the landscape. The pool with direct ocean view is a real treat, and access to a quiet and peaceful beach makes the place even more magical. A true haven of peace! Our room, facing the sea, was just splendid — waking up with a view, moments of serenity, perfect. A huge thank you to David, always super welcoming, available and responsive (you know we won't forget your help, really🙏). Special mention also to the chef: the dishes were delicious, and it's a real plus when you just want to enjoy the villa to the fullest without having to move. Great value for money! I can only recommend the place, from communication to booking, to transportation from the airport to the welcome and accommodation to the apartment, we were happy with everything. The family apartment provides plenty of space and excellent cooking facilities. The beds are very comfortable and the terrace is superbly adapted to relax in privacy thanks to the grown beautifully blooming bushes. Next, the generous breakfast included and 2 pools, at least one of which we had to ourselves at any time. The area is very well maintained, the pools are clean and the surroundings of the apartments are cared for. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach, as well as the beginning of the village, where you can shop for everything you need, and also observe the local life while walking. Thank you so much to the owners and the entire staff for a great stay.

I am very thankful for the time I could spend at the embassy appartment. It was a very nice environment, the land lady was very helpful in everything and I am just looking forward to my next stay with the embassy appartment. The location is also nice and developping around, you can have nice local food next to you. The appartment was nice, it had also solar, what made it easy to work remote & the wireless was also enough strong. All in All very very happy and a little bit sad to leave. See you next time!
