Monthly Rentals in Unhais-o-Velho

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

It was wonderful to return to this beautiful & peaceful retreat. Couldn't ask for more, than relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views. Rogerio was attentive as always but gave us our space. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

I had the most wonderful and relaxing 4 days anyone could wish for. A real treat for the soul. Horácio and Aurea welcomed me in their house and treated me like family. There was nothing I’ve missed. Many hiking trails around this lovely mountain village, with breathtaking views. The weather was pretty warm, but there are enough Praia fluvial, and streams around to cool down. The sunsets in Monte Frio are beautiful, as the town is so high up, you’re basically overlooking everything. We had a language barrier, but we communicated from the hearts and were able to make it work, otherwise we could always rely on their son Tiago to translate :) I thank you all for this special time, and I will be back some day!

Maria José is the host that we all want to have. He was concerned to guide us to the house, described it reliably and still left us a welcome gift. The house is very beautiful and is right in front of the river. From all the windows we have a beautiful view. In addition, it is very well equipped and we have all that is needed for a good stay. Near the river beach, the shale villages and nearby beautiful landscapes and leisure structures and the hospitality of our hostess made our weekend wonderful. Thank you for everything!
