Exactly as described, Sandra’s place was just what we needed to enjoy a small weekend getaway to Arouca. Lovely place with all you would need, that made us feel right at home. Loved the occasional visits from a neighbour cat that seemed to love pets. Would definitely recommend and/or come back in the future.

A peaceful and invigorating stay. Location in a quiet area to recharge. Within a 15-minute walk from Ponte Arouca516 (Pórtico de Alvarenga), which allows access to the Passadiços do Paiva. Accommodation with all the necessary amenities to spend a good time with the family; it was clean and tidy. Raquel was always available and gave suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. We recommend it to 100%

We stayed one night after hiking in the area. The location is perfect and the house is as described. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to others who are looking for a quiet stay with lots of nature-related things to do close by.

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for the hospitality António!
