Studio apartment at the foot of Wartburg

Entire, independent studio, 52 square meters, with well-equipped, integrated kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The location is ideal if you want to explore Eisenach, the Wartburg or the hiking opportunities on foot. (Bachhaus Museum, market and Luther House 10-15 min., Wartburg: about 35 minutes (forest path), train station: about 15 minutes Hiking: The forest begins right behind the house and many hiking opportunities are in close proximity. I am happy to provide tips and information. The windows of the studio face the courtyard, which is partly green and serves (largely) as a parking lot. Various restaurants and cafes are on the way to the nearby city center (about 6-10 minutes' walk). The surrounding southern quarter is the preferred residential area of Eisenach and is worth seeing for its many Art Nouveau villas alone. In winter, the historic Christmas market on the Wartburg is a special experience (on all weekends in Advent). If the nearby Prinzenteich (2 min.) is frozen, it is visited by young and old for ice skating! The studio (non-smoking), which consists of a large room with integrated kitchen, offers space for 2 people (1.40 m x 2.00 m) on a comfortable sofa bed. Since inquiries keep coming, there is now the possibility of a 3rd sleeping place on a guest mattress. Coffee and various types of tea are freely available. Linens, towels and hair dryers are provided. Also of course: rinsing utensils/dish towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo/shower bath. Guests arriving by car have a private parking space right in front of the entrance. Notice: actually the studio is not available on Wednesdays, (arrival Wednesday-evening is sometimes possible). Exception: school holidays. Note: With the exception of Thuringian school holidays and public holidays, the studio will not be available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 6 PM. If your stay includes a Wednesday, you will receive a delicious breakfast as a small compensation. Just let me know your preferred day before arrival.

In about 2 km you can reach extensive hiking trails, such as the Ohmgebirge, the Bärenpark, the central bus station can be reached in 8 minutes, from there you can reach the towns of Leinefelde, Heilbad Heiligenstadt and Duderstadt. The Harz Mountains can be reached in 35 minutes by car. Eisenach with the Wartburg Castle are 60 km away. Göttingen is 39 km away

This place has something very special. The stay in Anja's magical half-timbered cottage made our time in Mühlhausen sweeter. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated the loving details. The apartment has everything you need. You can walk to Mühlhausen in the pedestrian zone. The nearest supermarket is also within walking distance. Everything being clean. The place is super cute. We recommend the Indian restaurant Ganesha and the tavern Antoniusmühle. Helmut is very friendly and let us in flexibly for check-in.
