Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Upper Franconia

We had a great time in the vacation home Fernblick, there was enough space, everything you needed and the view in the distance simply unbeatable! Hiking trails pass directly by the house and there is also a lot of nature and pretty places to discover in the surrounding area. Communication with Sabine was always warm & helpful. We will be happy to come back!

Everything was great, Lucia was very nice and personally on site when we arrived. The house is super quiet and everything was clean, the kitchen had great amenities and everything we needed was there. The only mini small flaw was probably that a bed squeaked from my girlfriend :D Otherwise everything is great, we will be happy to come back and can only recommend the accommodation.

The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

The apartment exactly met our expectations. Bright, quiet and perfect in size. It all worked out. From check-in to departure, it was simply uncomplicated with Jasim.

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

We were there with a child and two dogs and felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean and we didn't miss anything. The fenced-in back garden is also particularly great for dog owners. The communication with the hostess was also very friendly. We felt comfortable all around!

The 1a holiday home is quietly located in Sophiental next to a stream. We booked the accommodation with Anika & Felix as a family of 6 + children and were thrilled from the start. The accommodation is well equipped and actually leaves nothing to be desired - The kitchen has incl. Spices and oils are all there for cooking, and there is a grill in the garden. Coals + lighters were also provided. For the long evenings in the huge garden, there is still a fire bowl and wood ready to make bread and marshmallows. A highlight is the lighting at night - it is incredibly cozy to spend long summer nights here in a deck chair. I highly recommend the accommodation - especially you notice that Anika & Felix do everything to make sure you have a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time in the tiny house, the surroundings were wonderfully quiet and you can relax really well. The hot tub and the small sauna are a very big plus, in addition, dogs are also welcome, which we liked very much. 😊☀️

The property is in an absolutely peaceful area. There is everything you need and there is a beautiful view. A swimming pond is also available, which is certainly a nice addition to everything in summer. The property is very spacious and beautiful. Communication was also very good and fast.

We came to Bayreuth for two nights because of the festival and a very clean and tastefully furnished apartment was handed over to us, which corresponded to the expectations through the photos. On the beautiful balcony you can have a good breakfast and the area is very quiet, so we could sleep in the summer with the window open. By bus (we were not there by car) you can get to the city in just under twenty minutes. Otherwise, there are parking spaces directly there that can be used. The contact with Bogdan was very friendly and he responded quickly to us with questions/concerns. All in all we highly recommend the stay.

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

Our 5-day stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The decor was not only beautiful, but also very tasteful and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Particularly noteworthy is the sauna, which turned our stay into a relaxing oasis. The apartment was always clean, which shows how much value the landlady places on cleanliness and comfort. We were greeted with loving care that we so rarely experience. The landlady herself was incredibly warm and always took care of our well-being. The location of the apartment in a quiet and relaxing area perfectly rounded off our vacation. Here you could really switch off and relax. We highly recommend this stay and would come back any time. We had a great place to stay at cottage Toni! The house is modern, tastefully furnished and well equipped – nothing is missing. The location is ideal, with beautiful views of fields and forests. During the day we took walks, and in the evening we enjoyed the magnificent backdrop and sunset in the garden while grilling and eating. It couldn't be more perfect! We will be happy to come back :)

In this individual, tastefully furnished accommodation, you can immediately feel at home. After numerous excursions on foot, by e-bike or by car in the very beautiful and rich surroundings, you can relax in the apartment in the evening. Everything and more was available, which you need in the kitchen and bathroom, incl. Spices, cleaning products, toiletries, etc. An attention to welcome was included. The landlords are always available for a nice conversation, a good recommendation or tips for excursions, etc. We fell in love with Upper Franconia, especially with the friendly Bayreuth with its diverse cultural and gastronomic offerings and the stunning nature around it. The starting point of this apartment is perfect for all activities - or even a peaceful afternoon on the sunny balcony with a delicious Franconian wine. We were thrilled with this quiet and natural environment. I was able to go for a fantastic walk with the dog in the nearby forest. The beautiful garden is of course worth mentioning, which was designed with great attention to detail. All in all, the accommodation is highly recommended.

We were guests at Herbert and his family's over the Pentecost weekend (we had contact with Franzi :)) and felt very welcome from the beginning. Everyone was extremely hospitable, which made our stay particularly pleasant. The accommodation was nice, tidy, very bright and friendly – you can tell that a lot of attention to detail is paid here. We would like to emphasize the cleanliness - everything was really very clean and well maintained. The area is ideal for nature lovers. There are many beautiful paths for walks, which we have used extensively with our dog. He was also warmly welcomed, which was a big plus for us. We were completely satisfied and can definitely recommend the accommodation!

The weekend at Michael's was absolutely wonderful! A really charming accommodation and an extremely quiet and relaxed area! A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet! We really enjoyed the days. The place was very clean and something special due to the location in the castle. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable and in the kitchen there was everything you could ever need. Otto is a very likeable host with many excursion ideas and anecdotes around the castle and the area. We will be back for sure.

I had been looking for a quiet, rural place to stay in Franconia and with animals to get away from it all for a few days and didn't get disappointed. Kim and Armin are very open and friendly and have tips/solutions ready for any questions.

The accommodation was consistent with the photos, and it was very clean and well organized. Simone's mother lives upstairs, and she checked me in and explained things to me. He wrote a 'welcome note' for our family, and gave us homemade cookies for the kids and beer for the parents. I was so moved. The neighborhood was so peaceful that my wife and I took a walk in the village in the morning. Everything was perfect and good.
