The property is located a little off the beaten track at the end of the village. In the immediate vicinity there are climbing rocks, hiking trails and a river for kayaking. Cyclists and motorcyclists will also get their money's worth. All over the property there are 2 vacation homes with private, separate outdoor areas. Free parking at the house.

The vacation cottage "Auszeit" (time out), which we have lovingly renovated, is ideal for couples who want to spend undisturbed hours together. On the huge terrace with beautiful distant views, grill and terrace fire, in the panoramic sauna, the relaxation room and the large garden you can have a good time and forget the world. We have placed special emphasis on high-quality and comprehensive amenities. The cottage is rurally idyllic in a former vacation resort and offers a lot of privacy.

Situated at the edge of the village just a few steps away from rolling meadows and superb coniferous forest: excellent network of trails for hiking, mountain biking and e-biking on the doorstep; lakes for bathing within easy reach plus a wide range of other pursuits, both active and cultural. Parking space + guest garage on the property.

If you are in the mood for "cabin magic," fireplace & nature in the Fichtel Mountains, then the Spirkenhütte is just right for you. A piece of idyll - as an ideal starting point for nature-loving people or small groups. The pellet stove not only provides a pleasant ambience, but also heats the approximately 100 square meter cabin. Your task - refill pellets daily - the stove does the rest automatically! If you are still cold, you will be pleased about the in-house sauna.

Herrenhaus Forstgut Tanzenhaid

The Forstgut Tanzenhaid in Middle Franconia is a private property. In the middle of the beautiful forest and pond landscape of Tanzenhaid lies the manor house built in 1725. This was completely renovated in 2023 and furnished according to the latest standards as a vacation home with a lot of style and attention to detail. It can be reached via private forest paths and offers our guests peace and quiet and the experience of idyllic nature with forest, water and meadows.

Schmidt's guest house

Our guesthouse is idyllically located at the gates of the Franconian Forest, surrounded by beautiful hiking areas such as the Steinach Valley. Both Kulmbach and Kronach can be reached in about 15 minutes by car, a bus stop is right at your doorstep. Parking is available free of charge. On 40 square meters you will find everything to escape from it all and enjoy the untouched nature of the Thuringian Forest. You will enjoy complete tranquility, no car noise, no busy road. In the village and the surrounding surrounding area there are hiking trails, carriage rides, Thuringian cuisine and much more to discover. You can use the outdoor sauna for a fee.
