the stay was amazing! nancy responded within minutes anytime i had a question or concern, the house was gorgeous & the patio was to die for! beautiful greenery in the backyard as well. had listed amenities & they all were very handy! amazing kitchen as well i cooked a full meal & she has all the essentials i needed. would definitely stay again!:)

We loved staying here! House was so cute and perfect for me, my fiancé, and our 2 dogs to stay for a night. Had a small issue at check in with the main door handle being locked, but owners were super responsive and came quickly to let us in. The yard was a tad overgrown so we couldn’t see the animal poop that our dogs ended up rolling in, but there was plenty of soap in the house to take care of it. Keep in mind the yard is not fully fenced if you’re bringing dogs. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and perfect for walking, and it was fun to look at all the cool and unique houses nearby. Would recommend and stay again!

We will definitely book this again if we are heading to U of I. The kids thought the staircase was cool because it was so steep and they enjoyed being able to play pickleball at the park. I was able to get a run in around the neighborhood but there was definitely pot smoking and drinking going on at the park by adults in the pavilion. It is a college town and just stayed at the park with the kids but didn’t feel unsafe. Great location overall!

We had a wonderful stay at Karen's Happy Place! It is located in a lovely quiet neighborhood, but close to everything we needed to spend time with our UIUC grad student. I loved taking my coffee on morning walks in the nearby Southridge Park -- so peaceful and pretty, with lots of bird life as well. We appreciated the personal touches on check-in to make us feel welcomed. The bed was super comfortable and the black out curtains let us catch up on some much needed sleep as well. Her recommendations for local coffee/food/activities were spot on --bagels and coffee around the corner were delicious, and a walk through the art installations at Meadowbrook Park was relaxing. Thank you for the great (almost) week, Karen -- I hope we can stay again next time we're in town!

This is a great place to stay! Super clean, spacious, and has everything that anyone would need.

Enjoyed our time at the Wren House. The Wren House was our stay during a horse show event at Gordyville USA. It was a great place to unwind and disconnect after a full day of horse showing. Very quiet, tranquil and great to disconnect with no TV for a few nights. The screened in porch was a nice to hang out in during the light rain during our stay. If you are a nature lover, this place is definitely for you!

Beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy area! We were surrounded by people for 3 days being at the busy Rantoul Family Sports Complex for a tournament. Coming back to this zen-like, quiet, clean, and spacious apartment made the weekend much more enjoyable.

Perfect location to visit the University of Illinois which is a short walk away! The neighborhood felt safe for walking even late at night and parking was very convenient. The space was welcoming, quiet, and relaxing with wonderful responsive hosts! I hope to visit again.

Had a fantastic stay. Bill was an excellent host, taking care of all our needs. Place was very clean, neat and tidy. Excellent location. Within walking distance to the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
