If your looking for a nice quiet place outside of San Jose, this is a nice break from towns and cities. Quiet rural setting. Appreciate the help with fires in the fireplace in the evening. Javier brought us the wood and even started the fireplace in the evenings for us. Very nice folks.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Sabine was very friendly, always attentive and willing to help with whatever we needed. The b*****s that live there are a love, super affectionate and quiet, they made us feel right at home from the moment we started. The natural environment is beautiful, full of greenery, peace and fresh air. Ideal to rest and disconnect. Totally recommendable!

Antonio is a great host. I use a wheelchair and he had ramps made to make everything more enjoyable. The house's spaces are spacious and the environment is unique. It's in a small forest, much nicer than what you can see in the photos. We'll be back!

We had such a lovely time at this place. We came for a relaxing girls trip and got exactly that. The surroundings and ground is amazing and tranquil. The pool refreshing and lots of outdoor space to spend time together or find a little corner to one’s self. We brought all our groceries since the next store is a bit away. So keep that in mind but the kitchen is fully equipped to cook. We had an amazing time! Thank you! We also fell in love with the little cat that came by the house. She’s the sweetest!

Amazing stay! Wonderful breakfast and delicious coffee. Great wine tastings as well! Diego and Ana were amazing, very helpful and responsive. Their place is beautiful, highly recommend booking if you have the chance!

Beautiful house, very family, located in a super quiet stay, surrounded by wildlife, green and hills. There are wonderful hikes to do on the terrain and you can see spectacular sunsets from very nice spots. The view alone is worth it, but we also received a very friendly and friendly treatment from Maria and Cristoph, as well as a very nice home. In addition to all this, they have some beautiful and cuddly dogs that even accompany you on hikes.

We rented the place to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas, and it was undoubtedly one of the best family celebrations. The place is beautiful, you disconnect from the routine from the very first minute. Martin and Francisco are always very attentive The environment with nature and animals is magical. We will definitely be back there this year

Very good place, easy to access and at a good point, a few minutes drive from Minas. The photos do not do justice to the views of the surroundings that are even appreciated from inside the cabin. Super recommended!

Nice place in a wooded area just on edge of town. Was looking for pictured front of house. The back faces road so I drove by it a couple times before directed there. Wife and I liked the place. Was fall and quieter time of year. Has standard wall heat. No fireplace. Does have area for this outside. All in all we stayed in 10 places in Uruguay. This was the nicest place for all around use and enjoyment.

very nice, cozy and quiet place. Recommended to unplug everything. The very attentive host helped us with a problem we had with the car.

The Must-Sees Experience I recommend you to live this experience from the beginning, walking the beautiful route that leads to this incredible destination of mountains, countryside, animals and 100% hospitality. Upon arrival, we were greeted with pristine facilities and a natural environment populated with field animals that frame a landscape that connects you to the nature that we need so much. We took advantage for lunch at the restaurant, where Chef Paula and Tato attended us with dedication and surprised us with a gastronomic proposal of country dishes made with noble ingredients and a lot of love. After lunch, we go for a walk in the countryside, where each step te reveals little treasures (which I will not spoile😉). To close the day, we visit the cheese shop and the orchard, guided by Joselo, who between horses and chats gave us the warmth of a host that one always wants to find. Thanks to this beautiful family that does everything with love and excellence. We will be back!

One of the best BnBs we have ever stayed in! Vicky and Jorge are excellent hosts whom will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The place is lovely, quirky and great for larger gatherings. The surrounding nature is stunning and very relaxing. We would definitely book again and come back. They let us take all the produce from the garden and even lent us the babycrib for an additional night. Again, very much recommended place to enjoy a relaxing holiday!

The initial communication with Isabella was excellent, super attentive to answer any questions and concerns we had. Then we were greeted by Silvana and Alfredo who take care of the establishment and the truth that they are geniuses!! They made us feel super at ease the whole time, they were always around and super helpful, it was a pleasure to stay talking to them, and my kids loved them. We stayed in the house that is next to the rooms they also rent and everything was super neat, clean and tidy. It is certainly a cottage so the visit of spiders or other insects will be found. The sunsets totally spectacular and in the background you can see the river, and on the other side Buenos Aires if I did not interpret badly. VERY green for the children to run and enjoy, in my case I went with two men aged 2 and 4 who are not at all still, and they passed it divine, all the time they ask when we return, so at any moment we come back again!

A MISINTERPRETATION of ours was about to cancel the experience, but Miguel's attitude was central to resolving the inconvenience. A separate chapter Sofía, excellent home, at the level of the advertised offer. Congratulations to both...!!!

5 star stay in every way! The reception and the house and the view is amazing. One of the best here!

We loved the cabin, super comfortable! The wood stove heats the whole place. Esteban was super friendly, he was available all the time and even waited for us with the stove on. We definitely hope to return

Beautiful place. Mariana always attentive and her homemaker, Daniela, too. Super comfortable beds, top appliances. amazing views and lots of tranquility. thing to add: hair dryer, a good jump, spare ph and liquid hand soap. I highly recommend the field subtaran "lo de juan u cristina", it's nearby, the homemade and delicious food and its owners, lovely.

We continue to choose El Angel to enjoy our family vacations. We hope to be back soon!
