The villa belongs to our family since 1637, completely refurbished whilst maintaining it's antique medieval charm, we hope you experience an unforgettable holiday in one of the most beautiful and romantic Italian lake locations. Enjoy swimming the clean waters, using our SUP, kayak & water sports equipment. A 40HP boat is available for rent.

Well connected to the historic center of Varese: bus stop at 200mt. We have two dogs and a wolf: if you are afraid, please note that they run free around so it's impossible not to meet them.

Rustic Private Cottage front Lake w/ BOAT

You arrive by boat. No road, no car, no traffic — just a red cottage on the water in a village that time forgot, and the boat is yours for the whole stay (no licence needed). Two bedrooms, a fireplace, a covered terrace over the lake, and a garden of old trees with a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ. Kayak and paddleboard included. A full briefing on arrival, and we're a message away for anything. This isn't a resort. It's the lake, your own boat, and your own pace.

House 20 minutes walk from the center of Orta San Giulio and the municipal beach. House on 3 levels in a quiet area. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in peace and quiet and gaze at the stars at night. Crossing the street there is a children's playground. For trekking lovers it is a great starting point to be able to reach the trails that are many in the area and admire the beauty of our lake.

The boxwood of Lake Orta

The residence Il Bosso del Lago d'Orta consists of two apartments, for a maximum of 9 beds. One apartment has a kitchen/dining/living room/bathroom on the ground floor, a double bedroom on the first floor with a sofa bed, and a bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs, with independent access, there is the Attic, with a kitchen, double bed as well as a double sofa bed or alternatively a bunk bed on the lower floor in the anteroom near the bathroom.

The apartment "Suite Romantic Bocciola" boasts an amazing location on the eastern hills of Lake Orta: from your private terrace you'll enjoy stunning views over the Lake, the Island S. Giulio and the majestic Mount Rosa. All around the house there are lush gardens and romantic old dwellings! The Lake is only a 10 minute drive from here (2 nice public beaches). Bars and shops at walking distance: there's even a nice Café right next to your house!
