The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others. There are great hiking areas all year round, whether you like prepared ski tracks or the snow mountain in winter and mountain shoes or bike in the summer. There is an eldorado for fishing and hunting in the autumn and many mountain hikes are clear outside the cabin door on mountain skis or randone in the spring.

Here it is possible to walk straight out for miles with cross country tracks, ski alpine, or use the cabin as the perfect starting point for mountain hiking in Jotunheimen. Walking distance to Lemonsjøen mountain lodge and cafe bar Kalven seats. It can accommodate 2 families. Rented to responsible adult people. No smoking or pets allowed. Upon agreement, a boat on a trailer and a canoe can be lent to the tenant. The area is an eldorado for fishing in the mountains.
