Monthly Rentals in Valdese

We had an amazing stay at Johanne’s bungalow. I’m hopeful we can book again on our next trip to NC. Johanne was very responsive and helpful.

What a lovely Airbnb ! John was an excellent host! His wife made a Banana Nut loaf bread for our arrival. And it was delicious! John shared some fresh eggs from their chickens and my husband devoured them!! The unit is neat, modern and clean! There is everything one needs in the kitchen and bathroom from towels , linens , shampoo and soap . A great big living room TV to watch movies on and a bedroom TV . The leather couch and chairs are comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and I am fussy as I have several chronic back issues . I was relieved and delighted!! Alot of thought and care goes into this downstairs basement apt . This location is convenient to several key cities and towns. It is roughly 75 miles from Ashville, Hickory is only a few miles. Blowing Rock , N.C. is about 30-35 miles . ( a must !! ) An excellent restaurant in town is owned by a family member and does not disappoint! Highlands Butchery . We would stay again when traveling or visting Valdese area.

I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in a place of peace and privacy. It’s really beautiful here!

I stayed here for two months with my two senior dogs for a work contract. The neighborhood was perfect for walking with very little traffic and beautiful natural surroundings. The dogs loved sitting on the expansive back porch and exploring the nature trails that Margaret made below the backyard. The apartment is a large space with really comfortable furniture and all of the necessities for preparing food for my shifts at work. I slept really well here and I have stayed at several Airbnb in my travels- this was one of the best for a good nights sleep, a combination of having a quality mattress and absolutely no traffic noise after dark. Margaret was very friendly and helped with my dogs when I was working, and was very communicative when contacted for anything at all. Highly recommend staying here if you are craving peaceful ,natural surroundings during your stay in the area.
