If you were looking for a place in Portugal to stay look no further. Carlos and his wife were the best host that I have ever experienced. I have traveled the world both with my job and for vacation and this place is amazing. The morning bread with pastries, freshly squeezed, orange juice, milk!! They went above and beyond and made us homemade soup. They also informed us of events nearby that you could not find online (a bull fight, festival) Carlos was so great and helped us package souvenirs to send home! The castles and churches in this area must be seen. The house is so clean and has every amenity you need away from home. I even came back one day and my laundry was folded that I had hung out to dry. We loved Portugal and this Airbnb so much we have already scheduled our next trip back. It is rare that you find a property and people like this anymore. We made amazing memories.

We enjoyed our stay at Pedro & Carla’s. We have an infant and the hosts provided everything we needed for the baby. They were quite friendly and communication was very good. We stayed over a week in this unit. The place was bright with open space and quite comfortable, though it is quite humid in that area and without AC it felt a bit damp…we had some issues with drying clothes… but this is not specific to this unit. We like to cook a lot and felt a few things were missing in terms of kitchenware but Pedro and Carla provided some additional items promptly. This unit is at the rear of a courtyard which makes it a bit more secluded and quiet. The pool in the backyard was not in working condition but it was too cold at this time of the year. The neighbourhood seems a bit abandoned but all services are at walking distance. Overall we are quite happy with our stay!

My stay in Palheiros da Ribeira was exceptional! The property is immaculately clean, and although it is small, it has everything I needed. The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. They provided excellent recommendations. One special memory of the stay will be the sound of frog songs in the middle of the night. This is a dream locale for nature lovers! I enthusiastically recommend it.

We truly loved our stay at Patricia’s place. This place is a gem! This was our second stay in Abrantes. At first we were hesitant to book, due to the very few reviews (new unit) but we are so glad we went. The location is awesome, the balcony has amazing views. It was very pretty, especially in the Morning. Patricia was very friendly and helpful and communication was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer. This was part of a 2 month trip to Portugal during which we stayed at 5 different airbnb and this one was our favorite. All the equipment and kitchenware were high quality and the place was quite charming, beautifully renovated and decorated. You can tell Patricia put a lot of effort into this house. It was quite warm (35-37degrees) during our stay and the heat pump helped to cool but it seems it could not keep up. I am not sure if we used it correctly. If we ever return to Abrantes we will try to book this place again for sure!
