Wonderful place for when you want to get out of the hustle and bustle. Very private and quiet. You have your own piece of garden, hear the birds chirping, see deer and hares walking and can let your mind go. Great bed, amenities basic but good. In short: check out your daily needs!

We have stayed in this beautiful and spacious cottage for the second time. Anything you need is present. The location is perfect. You can enjoy hiking and/or cycling in the area. We walked the 4-day hike from Exloo and from Valthe, which was easy to reach. Kim is a nice hostess who is attentive and helpful.

As we entered the house we could see that the place was equipped with more than everything we needed plus a little note from our sweet and accommodating host. Also it was very clean and tidy. The Lovely vintage furnishings and color pallet combined takes you a step back in time and gives a cozy relaxed vibe. The bathtub was very nice and spacious. The garden is beautiful, unique and dynamic with lots of cool little spaces to discover and chill. The pictures don't do the place justice, you'll get plenty more than what you pay for. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!

It was a wonderful stay and I will definitely come back! I had booked for 1 night and booked an extra night because I wanted to enjoy it a little longer. It was like coming home, a natural farm feeling, even got to bottle a young sheep :-) and fresh eggs from their chickens at the delicious breakfast. Roelie and her husband are very nice people with whom I feel at ease, they think with you and help you make your stay as pleasant as possible. The forests with old trees and bamboos are nearby, you can be there in about 5 minutes by car, and shops and restaurants are also nearby. The residence is connected to a beautiful garden with various seating areas, also under a canopy. The bedstead sleeps wonderfully, nice and nostalgic. This place is highly recommended if you want to unwind. And the price/quality ratio is perfect!
