Monthly Rentals in Vance

This cute compact space is well appointed with a quiet mini split AC. Although adjacent to the railway line, the trains only came through at approximately 5:20pm and 8:05pm on the Tuesday we were there. Cute looking downtown, but stores are only open 11am to 4pm, with some only open Wednesday through Saturday. Several empty store fronts. Everything closed on Sunday, although further down Old number 6 highway is an IGA and Dollar store.

Host was very responsive. House was clean. Few games for families. Peaceful. Dock was nice but not many fish other than a few baby bass on crickets and bobber. Did get to see a couple baby alligators though! Beds are VERY firm. All in all it was a nice halfway pitstop between our vacation in Alabama and our home state of Virginia.

Great overnight stay to go fishing! Will be back in November.

This place is an absolute gem! It looks just as described and was exactly what we needed for a 4 person/small dog family. The layout is very open and allowed for everyone to have their much needed space after our cross country road trip! ( NV-SC) It is serene and peaceful. with a lovely lake view. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the squirrels and birds. The owners were very kind and friendly. We enjoyed sunning on the dock and cooling off in the lake. The park is close enough to walk to and the kids (12&15) enjoyed themselves. We are so glad we found this place! Perfect place for a relax and reset.
