Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Vancouver Island

We loved our stay here. The view from the full length windows and outdoor patio were breathtaking. We saw lots of wildlife: eagles, deer, seals, an otter and humpbacks. The kitchen was stocked and the bedding was very comfortable. It was beautifully decorated. We had fires on the beach each night while we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It’s a walkable distance to the Dolphin Resort restaurant where the food was excellent. We would rebook in a minute.

Prachtig huis in een nog prachtigere omgeving! Rustig gelegen, perfect uitgerust, mooi ingericht. Sauna en hot tub zijn een echte meerwaarde, net zoals terras en fire pit.

Amazing place to stay overlooking Salish Sea. Spent hours looking for seals and whales in the sea. Inside is modern, clean and had everything we needed! Host was incredibly responsive and helped out with all our requests. Thanks Christine!

Fantastic time here! Private getaway cabin with a unique outdoor sauna made this place extra special. Comfortable beds, and great space. We plan to come again :)

One of the best, if not best accommodation we booked on Vancouver island. We felt so at home. It’s such a light, open house with great character and the views are spectacular! Jo and John were really friendly and helped us with any queries quickly. The house is very well equipped and we enjoyed the hammock upstairs a lot as well. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was our family’s second time here, which speaks to how we feel about the home and property. It is a very beautiful space to relax and connect with family. The kitchen is well equipped for anyone who likes to cook, and the hot tub is a nice touch.

It was a great experience for us, everything was so good, the only thing that I wanna clarify for the next gusts is that between house and the beach there is the road, that you have to consider if you think it is exactly in front of the beach.

Tofino is now one of our favorite places to visit in large part because of this beautiful home. Being nestled amongst the trees and near the water provided great opportunities to view wildlife and relax. Our family loved our stay and will miss being in Tofino. This location is perfect! The crepe restaurant is right across the street as well as a coffee shop attached to the building. The liquor store and grocery store are all within 5 minute walk. It is a small unit but with it being just my husband and I, it was perfect. Building was nice and quiet and felt very secure. Bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in and the AC worked great as it was 30 degrees Celsius and very needed!

Me and my family stayed for 11 days at Collin’s beautiful apartment and we loved each moment there. Spacious, modern and very clean house with scenic views, close to beach, trails and town’s center and equipped with everything you might need even for a longer stay. There are even puzzles, cards and board games for some quality family time after a busy day. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our patio and my son was thrilled to see deers visiting us each morning. This apartment is unique as it is a corner one, which means more privacy. It is also very convenient if you have a lot of luggage as there are no stairs. Collin was an amazing host, always replying very fast. We cannot wait to book this place for our next vacation in Ukee.

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s ! The suite is close to the the Cowichan Valley Trail ( part of the Trans Canada Trail ) which we cycled for 2 days. Also close to town and restaurants and the famous totems of Duncan. Lots of lovely touches and a very comfortable bed . Would highly recommend Jane’s air bnb .

Lovely place very walkable to Chesterman beach, Tacofino, bakery, surf shops and bicycle rental. Very clean and Elin was very responsive to any questions we had.

Two words gorgeous views!!! Looked forward to having my cup of coffee on Kelley & Kent’s patio every morning. A very peaceful location tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ganges, but still less than five minute trip into town. Both Kelley & Kent were very welcoming and accommodating to our early check in. Their air bnb had all the amenities you could need to make you feel right at home. Beds were super comfy! I would HIGHLY recommend booking this accommodation, you won’t be disappointed! :) Enjoy!

So happy to have found Heather and Dan’s spot - it was the perfect place for our 4 nt stay in the Ucluelet/Tofino area! The space was comfortable, clean, cozy, and well appointed and thoughtfully designed. It’s a quick bike ride or drive to Ucluelet, and a nice 15ish minute walk to the Ucluelet Lighthouse Loop trail. Wer Ruhe sucht, gerne in der Natur ist und nur einmal die wunderbare Aussicht aufs Meer genießen will, ist hier genau richtig. Das Apartment ist großartig, mit allem ausgestattet und der Ausblick vom Balkon atemberaubend schön. Man kann Robben und Weißkopfseeadler beobachten. Und mit ein bisschen Glück vielleicht auch einen Wal 🐳 sehen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

This is a great place to stay to be next to downtown Victoria. It’s as advertised in the listing’s description and photos. There’s plenty of room for a couple and everything is in good condition. Washroom facilities, washer/dryer units, and wifi all worked well. We did not use any of the cooking appliances. The location is walkable to plenty of restaurants/bars in the area. We were comfortable and felt safe walking around at night; we did not have any issues with noise. Agata is a great host! Her instructions made check-in and check-out super easy. She responded within minutes anytime I messaged her. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, especially for couples, if you want to be next to downtown Victoria.

O local é muito bom, limpo e organizado. Contudo não é uma casa independente, trata-se de uma casa de hóspedes anexa à casa principal. Não há uma cozinha de fato onde se possa fazer uma refeição em família. Possui micro-ondas, uma pequena geladeira, cafeteira e torradeira. Estrutura apenas para refeições rápidas. A sala é muito ampla e confortável. Os quartos também. A anfitriã é atenciosa e o jardim é espetacular!

Super responsive, proactive and accommodating

Max really takes care of his place and it was even better then as shown on Airbnb. . Highly recommend booking this place.

A sharp modern glass tree house with a butterfly roof surrounded by trees - that makes for a comfortable stay & peaceful positive energy. We very much enjoyed the home and setting. Walls of glass floor to ceiling make it bright & a sense of light energy too. The landscaping is well done so that is nice on the eyes also. On our trip there happened to councide with very early morning & all day heavy machinery construction right next door, even on the Easter holiday. However that does not change my 5 star review. The place itself was excellent. The construction will be temporary + not always heavy machinery. And soon it will end. I just mention this so renters can get more certainty on what will be happening during the days they book. I highly recommend this rental it's a perfect place for 2 people and has a 2nd bed open to the main area that extra family could sleep in. We used that bed in the main room as a cozy place to read. Great master BR giant windows out to trees.

Alice’s house was beautiful inside! Very thoughtfully decorated, the tatami mats were really cool, and there was tons of space! Would definitely book again!

Such a cozy and quiet townhouse, plenty of room, great kitchen to prepare meals, love the private hot tub. Just a few things of note: 1. There is no lift from the parking garage up to the units. 2. It may have been noted and I missed it, but the dedicated parking stall is not quite long enough for a full sized truck, so might keep that in mind. Overall, a great place and I’d certainly book it again.

The place is amazing, and Billy was a great host. Every part of the property and accommodation is great. We especially enjoyed the private river access, sauna, and comfortable, well set up cabin. The space is also super flexible with lots to do, lots of places to hang out, and works for big groups. Finally, we loved how well prepared and clear things were in terms of pre-made fire places, instructions, etc. Great experience and hope to return for sure.
