Cottage holiday rentals in Vankleek Hill

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

We had a really nice stay at Nadia and John's cottage. The deck was fantastic, and the cottage was really clean and comfortable. The week went by too quickly.

Chris’s place is one of the best stay’ve been to. Some of the highlights were as follows but for us the biggest was the tiny little waterfall and steam next to the house. With windows open, the perpetual sound of water flowing through the stream was out of nature’s best book!! Other highlights included: - Gorgeous and spic clean home - Lots of ways you can engage kids - Completely equipped home from kitchen to baths, to games, to kayaks - Chis was always available to support and respond. The only negative we’ve experienced was that house could be better equipped against mosquitoes. We could barely enjoy the gorgeous outdoors deck or the hot-tub due to mosquitoes. We certainly dont expect Chirs can take care of them all, but some more measures like covering the bath tub area or upper deck would make the place like a dream!! That said, we are ever so thankful for the opportunity to stay here, and what’ll always be a cherished memory!

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

We booked this beautiful chalet for two days of the honeymoon tour and it was a very comfortable stay and everything was clean and tidy, this chalet provides everything even in the smallest details, everything is in this beautiful place, a person does not need to go out of this place to look for fun, just sitting in the jacuzzi on the lake makes you feel that you are in heaven😍We look forward to visiting this place again in the future 🙏🏻

C'était parfait pour notre famille de 8 personnes : 2 grands-parents, 1 papa & ses 2 enfants, un couple et leur enfant unique. Reste à savoir que le divan-lit est en fait 2 lits simples, donc ne prévoyez pas mettre un couple là-dessus ! Mais le matelas de sol est en fait un petit lit double, donc vous pouvez vous en sortir en mode 2 couples + 6 enfants. L'aire commune est très bien adaptée avec les divans et fauteuils, c'est bien cozy et chaleureux avec le foyer. Toute la famille a grandement apprécié les petits détails de l'hôte, on voit qu'il est très organisé et réfléchi.

Location was great. The place was as described. We had a good time. Kevin was also very responsive and fixed a small issue for us quickly upon arrival. Would recommend

This was our second time at Stephane’s place and it was just as we remembered. A very special place. It is a great place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet and reconnect with nature. All while listening to some great music and discovering the small amusing details. Thank you for sharing your incredible place. We needed and enjoyed our time here.

This is a beautiful cottage. The lake access is the real highlight and the hosts have really leaned into this providing lots of opportunities for water recreation, including a good sized dock, multiple kinds of boats (kayaks, a canoe, a peddle boat, and paddle boards), and a large floaty that acts as a second dock. Speakers at the waters edge were a nice touch! The hosts were also great. Very responsive and friendly, and proactively reached out to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The cottage itself isn’t huge if you plan to spend the majority of your time inside, but this wasn’t an issue for us as we spent the majority of our time by the water. It was big enough to fit 10 around the dining table for meals and games. All in all, it was a great experience.

Had a great weekend away at the cottage, with a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful yard right on the river.

Our son and I stayed at Riverside Cottage to explore and fish the Salmon River and visit the hidden and overlooked areas of the Northern Adirondacks. We had a wonderful time. We had beautiful weather to enjoy the birdsong and beautiful wildflowers and gardens maintained by Lorraine and John. We were welcomed on our arrival like extended family. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy the outdoors. We loved listening to the many songbirds and rush of the water flowing downstream. We hope to return another time and would recommend the cottage to those who enjoy connecting with nature hosted by the nicest people who you will ever meet.

Magnifique séjour passé en famille, au calme dans une maison adorable, bien entretenue pratique et convivial, le jardin est un petit paradis aux odeurs de lilas que nous avons partagé avec des tamias rayés et des papillons tigrés!

Fred’s place was perfect for our last minute planned vacation. Clean, cozy and beautiful location. We did not cook, but the kitchen was very well supplied! Keurig coffee maker or french press. The place is easy to find contrary to other reviews and Fred was responsive with pictures and clear directions. Easy to get in the place, plenty of parking. The decor definitely shows Fred’s touch. So much better than a hotel. Pristine location. Probably lots to do in the summer time as well. There’s 2 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 5 I would say. 25 minute drive to Mont Tremblant. I definitely recommend.

5 Stars – Wonderful Stay! I had a fantastic stay at Victor’s home in Les Laurentides! The house was cozy, clean, and well-equipped for a relaxing getaway. Saif was a great host—very responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The peaceful location and thoughtful touches throughout the property made my trip even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene escape with excellent management. Thanks again for a great experience!

The host demonstrated exceptional hospitality and promptly addressed all our inquiries. The cottage had many amenities aside from the lovely view and water activities. The kitchen was also well-equipped, which made it very convenient for my friends who love to cook. The cottage was charming, and we will certainly consider booking it again in the future.

Kiara was a great host. Friendly approachable , attentive and proactive. Her home is lovely, the surroundings were beautiful and the docks were well maintained , which was a plus , as we brought our boat to explore the river and spent tons of time watching otters, eagles, herons, fish ( and fishermen floating by!) from the dock. The beds and sheets were luxurious, which was so very welcome as we stayed for two weeks. I read in the reviews about the “bonus goats” and chickens but truly didn’t recognize how important they are to encouraging relaxation !! Loved the whole experience. Thank you, thank you!

Wow. The views of the lake from from this place are absolutely stunning! We had a great time and were very comfortable here. We loved the hot tub and the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided for use on the lake. I would definitely stay here again if I was looking for a tranquil place near Ottawa.

It was perfect (5*). A beautifully decorated, large comfortable space with absolutely everything needed & then some. Very comfy beds, cozy bedding, everything was super clean, tidy, organized, wonderful amenities, responsive host…Perfect.

Site calme et confortable. Très beau paysage. Accès au lac. On s'est bien reposé et on a pu être avec notre famille en ayant toutes les commodités requise. Dave est très sympathique, il répond très rapidement et est arrivé dans les 15 minutes quand un a demandé quelque chose.

We spent a wonderful week at the Chalet Belle Vue. It has a fantastic backyard with a huge deck — perfect for family entertainment. The outdoor space is beautifully maintained and packed with fun activities like a trampoline, volleyball net, axe throwing, access to kayaks and a paddle boat. The lake view is beautiful. If you're a light sleeper, consider choosing the lakeside bedroom to avoid hearing vehicles on Route 321 early in the morning or during daytime naps. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you might need and more. The hosts Jessica and James are very kind and responsive. We highly recommend this cottage — a great place to relax and have fun!
