A 100-year-old rebuilt log sauna cabin in the tranquility of the countryside. A good night's sleep is guaranteed by a futon mattress and the opportunity to enjoy the sauna in the warmth of the wood stove while admiring the lake from the landscape window, in the summer you swim in the clean-watered lake, in the winter you jump into a refreshing ice hole. You wash with water heated with a traditional bucket. The needs are done in the outdoor toilet. There is no rush here, but the rest of the world is forgotten. Still, only a half-hour drive from the city's services.

If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Enjoy breakfast on the terrace in a beautiful lake landscape. The nearby forests offer a good setting for berry picking, mushroom picking and hiking. You can take a dip in the summer as well as in the winter from the cottage's own beach. We also offer a rowing boat, life jackets and a SUP board, please ask separately. Ranta-Mäntylä sijaitsee kauniin ja kalaisan järven (Kallavesi) rannalla, luonnon helmassa, kotimme pihapiirissä, vain 25 min ajomatkan päässä kaupungeista Kuopio ja Leppävirta. Kohteeseen kuuluu kaksi rakennusta. Lämmitetyssä mökissä majoittuu mukavasti kaksi henkilöä. Nukkuma-aitassa on kesäaikana nukkumapaikat kahdelle. Majoittujien käytössä on grilli, sup-lauta ja soutuvene. Kylpytynnyrin käytöstä lisämaksu. Varaathan kylpytynnyrin etukäteen.

PikkuTaika in Old Varkaus is a unique and peaceful place where it is easy to relax. There is room for one - two and even three people. The apartment is an approx. 25 sqm studio apartment on the first floor: living/bedroom with a kitchenette as well as a private toilet and shower. Our building was completed in approx. 1916 as apartments for the workers of Ahlström's factories. A large and cozy courtyard area crowns the stay.
