House holiday rentals in Vashon Island

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)

The house looks just as pictured and is beautifully decorated! You can tell there was a lot of thought put into it such as child safe locks on the toilet and outlets, shoe horn, slippers by the door, and lint roller hung up by the door. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Best part was it was extremely convenient and close to the airport which made the commute to our early flight a breeze. Only thing that could have been better is if I could get responses via messaging, otherwise, they were responsive by telephone.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, and it all started with the incredible hosts, Debi and Russell. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and truly made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and were always quick to respond to any questions. The home itself exceeded all expectations. The amenities were far beyond what we anticipated. The views—both day and night—were stunning, and the local wildlife was a delightful surprise. We even saw several bald eagles, which was a first for us! The house is incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi were a huge bonus and the perfect way to unwind after exploring Washington. The modern upgrades and appliances made our stay even more comfortable. There were also plenty of games and toys for kids—though our daughter spent most of her time enjoying the pool. You truly won’t be disappointed.

Perfect location, a short walk from the Burton Store. Lovely, sunny deck and yard throughout the afternoon. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat at home. We would like to stay again.

Loved our long family weekend here. super helpful and kind host. Beautiful property, very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed looking out at the lovely view, playing games and cooking meals here. It's location was private and we drove and explored the island with ease. There was a corner grocery nearby in the event you needed something and had we had an absolutely wonderful time. The only drawback to the home is that there is only one bathroom, and it's at the back of the house on the main floor, whereas the bedrooms are upstairs. With that being said, anytime we visit Vashon Island in the future, Kimberly's home will be the first to look for to see if it's available!

Wow- this place is so special! It’s like a private oasis of peace and beauty. The property is gorgeous and the many trails and creek are such a treat to explore. The home has a midcentury modern feel, especially with all the windows inviting the forest into the space. The back deck is so lovely for coffee in the morning and relaxing in the evening. The host provides firewood and mosquito repellers to enjoy the outdoors even more. They even have lots of books, games, and toys. The listing states that there’s no AC so just be aware can get a tad warm with the skylight; however the home cools down fairly quickly with the windows open and a fan going, especially with the cool evenings. I hope to return, and even bring family or friends! Genuinely so happy we got to stay here.

Our group had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historic inn! Spent most of our time on the porch and the dock chatting and enjoying the water. All kinds of quirky odds and ends inside to be entertained by, a well stocked kitchen, and paddle boards for guest use. Definitely heed the warnings of the trail and stairs to the house being a workout. Jacqui was really sweet and responsive, an absolutely lovely host!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. The location was perfect, with beautiful views! Communication with Cathy was seamless; she was friendly, responsive, and made sure I felt welcome from the moment I booked. I truly appreciated the extra touches that made the stay feel special. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience!

My wife and her friends had a lovely time at the Vashon Farmhouse. Kitchen was stocked with everything they needed (an actual expresso machine!) and the home was surrounded by flowers. They loved watching the birds at the feeders and liked that they could walk to town. Lisa was very accommodating and helpful with check in! It was perfect for a girl's night getaway- my birthday present to her.

Lovely spot! We lucked out with a gorgeous hot weekend - Mt Rainier was stunning, the sea was perfect, orcas surfaced as they went by, kites were flying, sailboat race right there, beach and trail walking was sweet, the troll was watching us...the rare sighting of the Aurora Borealis was spectacular! This old house is simple, comfy, has all one needs. We kept our weekend simple with takeout from May Kitchen, excellent Thai! We mostly stayed there at Point Robinson as we sought calm and quiet.When we did leave, it was brief 15 minutes into town for Saturday market, groceries, and a swim at the outdoor heated pool... Very kind caretaker next door. A sweet family in the larger house. A small community feel. Daytime visitors to the beach and lighthouse made it festive, and they went home about dinner time. Bring an eye mask if sensitive to light - curtains are light and lacy. No blinds. (The lighthouse does flash every few seconds in the north bedroom...but I got used to it.) Lovely!

Amazing place with an outstanding view! the property was really clean with all the amenities! The private beach was just perfect (Wait for higher tides though). the hot tub was really great as well. Great place to visit over a weekend with your own little nest overlooking the Hood canal :) Thanks to the host!

Wish I could give this more stars, place was comfortable and peaceful, close to the airport and easy to get into the city, but walkable to nearby beaches and cafe with coffee, beer, wine and food. Suzana was very easy to communicate with and was always quick to respond if we needed anything. Before our vacation ended, we were already planning our return - thanks for a great stay, Suzana!

My bookclub and I loved sharing time at Rita's. We enjoyed the view, the cozy living room, the large dining room, and the kitchen which was easy to navigate and cook in. We had such a great time that we will be booking another visit in the fall.

Having stayed at dozens of rental homes around the country, its easy for me when I come across a standout like this property. The home is possibly the best appointed rental I have ever stayed in. If you intend to hang out at the house and enjoy the scenery, the back yard and kitchen are perfectly set up to entertain your guests. My family and I did not notice a single thing that we wanted or needed that was not on hand. Anyone looking to rent a property in this area of Washington, I would highly recommend this home! Im sure I will be back one day.

Arwen was a lovely host. There was a slight complication getting into the house and but she was so lovely and gracious. The decor and design of the house are impeccable… I’m trying to figure out if she could come decorate my house the same way! It truly felt like a retreat and a magical getaway. Just two things to note. — I stayed with my mother and daughters and the small steps up and down from room to room were a bit tricky for my 80-year-old mother. Also, the steps to the upstairs are very steep, though so worth the climb— so beautiful up there! — There is road noise from the traffic in the evening… lots of cars going across the spit, but we were able to tune it out. Arwen has thought of everything and it truly is a lovely relaxing house- like a garnet hill catalog or something! There was a slight complication getting into the house but Arwen was apologetic and responsive. Highly recommend the stay to any family!

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting! One of the best equipped places that I’ve stayed in. Nice interior and exterior. Good for beach walks and exploring at low tide. (Nice nearby trails on the “forest to sky” trail network. The nearby shops at Rolling Bay were great. Perfect for a weekend with kids. Great communication from host.
