It is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. 4 km from the center of Bad Bentheim and 4 km from the Dutch border, you can start directly from here on the Dinkel route. In the beautiful Twente Springendal, you will find this characterful, unique forest house. Surrounded by countless birdhouses, you can enjoy everything nature has to offer, even in winter. Hiking? Walk out of the cottage and the forest hike can already begin. With the newly renovated bathroom, it has all the luxury. Look out the windows in the morning, chances are the squirrels will come to greet you. The cottage is located on the small-scale campsite "Bij de Bronnen", and offers all the privacy you need.

Welcome to the "Waldhaus an der Wiese" in Uelsen. On a 1000 sqm sunny clearing in the forest and holiday area of Uelsen, surrounded by birch trees, pines and oaks, lies our 2024/25 extensively and energetically renovated bungalow. Behind the house you have a wonderful view over meadows and pastures. Especially in the morning when the sun rises over the meadow and you sit in the conservatory with a coffee – an unforgettable moment! Here you can enjoy heavenly tranquility in a natural environment.

Unique estate in nature near Ootmarsum

In the beautiful Twente landscape in the middle of nature reserve the Springendal, just a stone's throw from the German border and near the picturesque town of Ootmarsum, lies the Hoeve Springendal estate. You have access to one of the ten apartments that are fully, attractively and comfortably furnished. One of the apartments is furnished for four people. In our old granary, you can have breakfast or lunch, and we also have delicious freshly baked apple pie or a locally special beer.

The rural area around, adjoining the beautiful spa town (Kurstadt) Bad Bentheim with its wonderful castle, invites you discover its many treasures on bike and hiking tours on many different routes. Still, it is easy to reach many nice destinations in the neighbouring country of Holland as well as in the Westfalian area around Münster with its countless castles and its beautiful landscape.

The Vechte-Glück was newly built in 2021 and convinces with its beautiful furnishings as well as its central location directly on the water and the city park. The beautiful studio has everything you could desire, a beautiful bathroom, a small, high-quality kitchen, dining table with comfortable chairs and a terrace with outdoor seating. This great accommodation is located in beautiful quiet Twente, and guarantees fun with the whole family and is of course suitable to stay with a group of friends or the family. The house is next door to our own house, and an ultimate place for lovers of peace and nature. Our house is located on a sandy road near the edge of the nature reserve "Cirkels van Jannink”. The cozy and cozily furnished holiday home was completely renovated in 2023.

Hiking and biking, fantastic from this chalet.

Our cozy furnished chalet, located on the quiet campsite Bij de Bronnen near Ootmarsum. It has a lovely garden and a beautiful veranda where you can sit late into the evening. This chalet is widely used by hikers and cyclists. Hiking trails are available in the chalet. Ootmarsum and Oldenzaal are steps away. Also a visit to Bad Bentheim or the slightly further Münster is well worth it.

Guesthouse an der Vechte

In our lovingly furnished guesthouse, we warmly welcome our guests. The guesthouse has 2 single beds, which are located on a gallery. (The beds can also be pushed together). A sofa bed can accommodate additional guests. Situated directly on the Vechte, in a quiet location with many hiking and cycling trails, you will find our nice guest house. A beautiful solitary cottage in a natural setting 2 kilometers away from the village of Vasse (near Tubbergen and Ootmarsum) with plenty of space, peace and privacy. The cottage is surrounded by woods and meadows and is equipped at the front with a large playing field where you can play to your heart's content or play football. There is also a kelter for children.
