Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Vathianos Kampos

Kindest and sweetest hosts. Went out of their way to make us feel at home and were always readily available for questions. Location is perfect and close to all the best spots. Private rooftop pool is lovely. Huge thanks for letting us check out late as there was no booking till the following day. It made all the difference in the world to our long trip home!

Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

This was a lovely and nicely renovated little appartement that was less than 20 min drive from airport in a little village surrendered by beautiful hills

My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought the sea would be missing, but that wasn't the case at all. We really came to rest – walks in the area were enough for that. Actually, we planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice excursions, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. This place completely exceeded our expectations! It’s absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking, priceless view that made our stay unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and accommodated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

The place was spotless, clean, and tidy. Pamela welcomed us for our short stay in Heraklion. We were well settled there, about fifteen minutes by car from the city center and 10 minutes from the airport, which made it easier to organize the end of our stay.

Place is right next to a pedestrian walk with lots of nightlife. (But far enough away that there are no noise issues.

The place was exactly what we expected and very comfortable and clean. The host was flexible with us for checking in and was there to greet us when we arrived. The host provided information to help us schedule our taxi to the port to catch our early morning ferry. The location was perfect with everything we wanted in walking distance.

Georgios was a fantastic host, very communicative, friendly, and met me at the accommodation late at night to make sure I knew how the Airbnb and building worked. I stayed for just over 2 weeks and the Airbnb was perfect for my stay, washing machine, oven, hob, fridge cooking utensils. It was even supplied with amenities such as laundry pods, oil, salt, pepper, dish washer soap, which meant I didn’t need to go buy lots of things. The area is a 5/10 minute walk to some restaurants and a sandy beach, and within walking distance to the supermarket and other amenities. Overall the Airbnb comfortable, spacious, and I felt very safe in the area and the building.

We were very satisfied with the apartment. The landlords were very welcoming. We were even personally greeted at 2:00 in the morning. The apartment was very clean and as described. The pool was really great and what was also great: The landlords take very good care of the pool. The day after our arrival, we had heavy Sahara rain and there was red dust / sand everywhere. The pool was also dirty and the landlord really worked all day to get the pool clean again. So that we could also use the pool 2x before we moved to the west of Crete. The apartment has good fly screens, so no insects can enter the apartment, except through the apartment door. :D There was only one disadvantage to the apartment. She's really sensitive. So noises come across relatively loud in the apartment. The four of us slept in the apartment, which was a little disruptive. Earplugs were a good solution. :D

Effective communication, functional accommodation, very clean and very convenient for its proximity to the airport (we stayed there for a short night for a checkout at 6am).

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

Great location in the heart of town. We had an incredible night staying here and being able to explore the local neighbourhood. Lots to do around the unit. We found parking within a block that was free street parking and didn’t mind carrying luggage up the stairs to the unit. The balcony is surprisingly private even though there is a neighbour across the way. Thank you for hosting!! 🌟 🌟

Sofia and her dad Giorgos were great hosts, from meeting, explaining and taking the time to make great recommendations to checking in often, very much appreciated! We loved Iraklio (and Heraklion) and the flat had what the 4 of us needed to enjoy our stay. We spent our mornings and evenings on the decks and loved eating outside and drinking beverages. The recommendation for the Peskesi farm to table restaurant was spot on! The restaurant/cafes options in walking distance of the flat are plentiful and every place we tried was good. We walked everywhere, and took a city bus to the wonderful beach by the airport and the ferry excursion to Santorini one day. The archaeological museum is a stand out, and the history museum and Venetian Fortress were also great sites. Ended up skipping Knossos as the artifacts found were in the archaeological museum, so no opinion on that. We shall return to Crete some time and when staying in the area would gladly book with Sofia!

We stayed one night. This bnb has a nice big balcony with views of the hills and mountains. You’re close by to restaurants and night life of the city which we loved to walk through. Host provided recommendations for dinner and cafes across different budgets. If we had to stay two nights, we certainly would not have minded staying here again. Also, this bnb is on a very quiet street in an elevator building.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Kostis was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was absolutely amazing and close to everything we wanted to see. The place itself was clean, comfortable and had the best view. I would definitely book it again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay

Susanna is a great host definitely recommend her. she has a spacious sunny clean place with a small backyard at a non touristic part of the island. always responsive and accommodative.
