Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

Our vacation home will be completed in 2024 and has been furnished with a lot of joy and love. It is an oasis in the middle of a beautiful landscape with a view of nature. Sommersdorf is located in the beautiful "Mecklenburg Switzerland" and directly on Lake Kummerow. The surroundings invite you to a wide variety of leisure activities such as walks, bike rides, swimming, paddling and much more. We are happy to give tips for excursions, restaurants, cafés and shopping.

Many lakes and the small town of Boitzenburg with its beautiful castle are very close.

In our fully equipped kitchen (2-burner induction hot plate, dishwasher, espresso maker, fridge, microwave, coffee and various spices) you can prepare fresh food with an unrestricted view of the garden and with ingredients from our garden. The bathtub protruding to the outside, as well as our daybed, invite you to relax.

Our apartments have been completely rebuilt in traditional solid oak half-timbered construction and were completed in 2019. In the house there are two neighboring apartments with separate entrances. Unser Haus am Tollensesee ist ein wunderschöner Ort um von dem Lärm der Stadt abzuschalten. Direkt gelegen am Tollensesee (wenige Gehminuten entfernt), der mit seinem klaren Wasser zum Schwimmen oder zum Stand-up-Paddling einlädt. Oder aber zu schönen Radtouren ca. 35km um den See. Die Lage zwischen Neustrelitz und Neubrandenburg, gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum einkaufen oder Restaurant besuche.
