A perfect starting point for mountain trips/peak trips, fishing, hunting and berry picking. Nice swimming opportunities in the river. If you want shorter trips, there are trails and fishing waters nearby. The cabin is sheltered, about 100 meters from the farm and has electricity but no running water. Water can be collected outside the main house. There is wood burning in the cabin. Outdoor toilet in the extension/woodshed. Good mobile/4G coverage.

In the guest house it is nice to just be, or you can go in the woods, on the mountain, along the highway or explore the sea life (boat/canoe/kayak) and try your luck at fishing. The mirror suite has a mirror function in two walls. You can see out, but no one can see in. Not even the wild animals, birds, foxes or moose that wander by. You live centrally, not far from the store and people, but still completely for yourself. Lovely bathroom with shower and hot water. Private wood-fired sauna in a house nearby. The atmosphere can only be good.

!!ATTENTION!! The cabin is closed for the winter and will open if conditions are right until Easter 2026. Pleasant cottage in quiet surroundings, with great views over fjords and mountains. Good facilities, well equipped for bringing small children. The cabin is 42 sqm, and has large nice areas for outdoor activities at all times of the day. Located well shielded. Parking right by the cabin. There are two bedrooms with family beds, as well as a loft, with the possibility of two beds.

Stiklestad Eye

Spend the night in a glass igloo, in the middle of a pasture area. With the forest as a background, and great views of Verdal. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Stay comfortably, with a feeling of being under the "open sky". From May to September there will be sheep grazing in the area. The igloo is equipped with a heat pump. Dogs are allowed by appointment.
