The interior is simple and harmonious with fine colors and authentic materials that create a warm and intimate atmosphere. Invites peace and quiet. No TV. There are great opportunities for outdoor activities both summer and winter; swimming, boating, hiking trails, top tours and skiing/downhill skiing at Gautefall ski resort. Bed linen, towels, firewood, and laundry are included in the price!

Idyllic spot by Lake Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

We also offer a rowboat, so the area can be explored from the water. Here you get the best view of the lake and mountains with all the comforts to enjoy your stay! "Kjempehytta" is an Idyllic small cabin located on a beautiful island in Lake Toke in Bamble, Telemark. A perfect place to see the the starry night sky, and enjoy nature. In summer you can go swimming an fishing in the lake. To get to the island you need to padle a canoe. The canoe and two lifejackets are included in the rent.
