Beachfront holiday rental in Vestfold og Telemark

I guess its like stepping back 100 years but with 2 bars of 5G. Lovely basic cabin next to an idyllic lake in the middle of nowhere. No running water or electricity so you have to plan ahead a little before your stay ( powerbank, drinking water,headlamp and non perishable food). We had the best weather ever in June but be prepared for the mygg around the lake when the wind drops. Big fish in the lake.

Amazing view over the lake. Exactly like described. Access to own catwalk from which you can jump in the water and a rowboat to explore the lake and the three islands. Tranquil nature all Ground. About 90 min drive from Oslo for a daytrip. Grocery shopping possibilities about a 15 min drive away. Nicest holiday home i have been to so far. Absolute recommendation. Would come back any time.

Great, lovingly furnished cottage in a quiet area. You feel immediately comfortable and Anne-Mette is a very attentive, well-prepared and uncomplicated hostess. She likes to give tips on activities and takes time for her guests. I 100% recommend this place!

We really loved our stay in Heidi’s cottage! It was even more beautiful in person as you have a whole place with one main cottage and 2 small cabins/sheds. We even got visited by several sheep’s and cows, which made it even better! If you love a very simple and slow lifestyle by getting your own water from the river, no WiFi, heating the place up with your own wood and having an amazing view - this is your call! 10/10 would recommend (we didn’t want to leave)!

We are a family of four with two teenage boys. This was the third year in a row we spent a long weekend at Johan and Reina’s place. It is a spacious, well equipped house without being generic or over-done as so many AirBnbs tend to be. It is just authentic, lovable and personal - as are its host who are experienced, generous hosts in the best meaning of the word. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone who wants to experience Swedish skjärgård, its quiet and idyllic nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was exactly as the pictures and description said it would be. The balconies are a huge bonus and it’s close to many eating places and activities. Most places are walkable from the condo. The host couldn’t have been more accommodating. One of the best hosts I’ve experienced through Airbnb.

The apartment is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The location is really great…near shops and restaurants as well as being convenient to tourist attractions. We had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay with our family. We were greeted at the apartment and it was beautiful as advertised. Loved sitting outside on the deck. Great views! It was a quick walk from the train station and to the tram. There are nice restaurants and a grocery store within a few minutes walk of the apartment. I would recommend staying here.

During our camping trip we took shelter in this home during a rainy day and one night. It’s a fantastic, small, cosy cottage so it was great to have a day inside in this house. The view is amazing and we saw a beautiful rainbow over the fjord. I can imagine that if the weather is nice that you can enjoy sitting in the garden.

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

Very beautiful place. Modern housing in an archipelago environment. there were only two of us, so the price per person was high. The bed in the loft has a ladder, so we chose to use it as a sofa bed. Lovely sauna.

A really lovely place with spectacular views that you can enjoy through big windows in all weathers. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The house is well equipped with most things you would need on holiday. There is beautiful countryside all around and nice walks are possible from the house. There is also a bus service to Voss from the main road close to the house and it’s possible to walk to the Skjervsfossen waterfall. We were very happy with our stay!

What a stunning treehouse. The view from the window, the lake and nature looked like painted. A truly magical place. The house is absolutely smartly made and very comfortably built. We came to rest very much, just as we wished. Knut André and his wife Mara prepared everything lovingly and meticulously, so we felt very comfortable and at home. There was nothing missing for us. The kitchen was great. The supply of water, gas, wood and candles was well prepared. The sauna and hot tube have rounded off our stay. Plus three days of bright sunshine. ☀️ What more could you ask for. We even transported our stuff by boat. Thank you for three unforgettable days. Maik, Isabel and Teddy 🐾

Thank you for this beautiful place 🥰 we enjoyed the time very much! Shortly before arrival, all useful information came in the guidebook, such as key box, sauna and pool instructions, etc. We got along very well and it was even more beautiful than in the photos! The hosts always responded quickly and very friendly to questions. We will be happy to come back!☺️

Beautiful place in the middle of nature. The cottage has everything you'll need. Rune is extremely helpful and quick to respond. We felt completely at home. You can catch perch and trout in the lake; there are a lot of blackberries (nice for the pancakes), a blackberry bush and plum tree, delicious! There is a compost toilet and the water from the tap is not drinkable; but there was water in jerry cans ready. You have to assemble the shower yourself (hot water in a container and attach the automatic shower) but has its charm so outside showering in nature

We had an amazing stay at Even’s cabin. The views were fantastic and there was lots of different seating areas to enjoy the views and make the most of the sun from. We hope to be back soon 😊
