2 nights in the most beautiful surroundings we have ever experienced. Waking up to the view of an impressive landscape - a lake surrounded by snow covered mountains - is more than one can wish for! They were both very welcoming, sweet and so helpful, and we felt right at home. The area is perfect for hiking and experiencing the breathtaking nature of Telemark. We hiked to Kvikkevann, and had the mountains all to ourselves. Such an amazing experience, and we will definitely come back😍

One of the cutest houses I've ever seen. Cozy, adorable, and makes you almost not want to go out! Stay in and lie on the sheepskin rugs in front of a fire and read a book. No wifi, and so still and quiet Sverre even put the refrigerator in the shed as to not have the hum of it disrupt the silence.

A dream of a hut - original, stylish and very cozy, in exactly the right size - plus comfortably equipped with a nice bathroom and a perfectly equipped kitchen down to the last detail! Amazing place! It’s a historic house on a farmstead next to the lake, unbeatable location with spectacular views on the doorstep. We used an amazing lakeside sauna twice, which you can book through Helene for a quite reasonable price per person. The cabin is small but the shower is well done and you can cook and sleep well. The hosts are very helpful, nice and genuine good people. We stayed 3 nights and took advantage of hiking and scenery around the area, and also enjoyed roaming the farmstead and meeting the animals. Recommend getting Helenes recommendations on places to see like Loen. I would go again given the opportunity.

Absolutely amazing stay! The little house is so nice and cozy, with a small kitchen and bathroom but surprisingly spacious living area and bedroom. The sauna is beautiful. I really enjoyed the little sitting area outside as well as a walk down to the nearby river, where I met some friendly horses on my way. I will definitely stay again if I am in the area. Robertas was a very kind and attentive host, sharing knowledge about the surrounding area and a warm introduction. 5 stars!

A charming guesthouse located in a peaceful area. It is perfect for families as there is plenty of space for children to play at, and many options for a scenic walk or nearby trip. Einar is also a nice host and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back and we recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable cabin. The surrounding nature is beautiful and calm and the cabin has everything needed to make the stay cozy and comfortable.

Just a fantastic spot. Our stay here was a joy, beautiful and peaceful. We feel like we really lucked into a great part of Norway and a great property. Perfect weather allowed us to spend hours on the deck/dock enjoying the most beautiful view. Driving around the area and a few hikes into the mountains gave us plenty to do all day. There are two supermarkets nearby and just a few restaurants. Siderhuset Nola K restaurant in Na was great for lunch or dinner and worth the drive. The 5 course dinner at historic Utne Hotel was maybe not worth the high price tag in our opinion. Bondusvastnet hike was worth the drive as well. If you like wine or any liquor know that in Norway you can only get it at a state vinmonopolet. Closest is 25 miles so bring it with you from airport duty free.

The house is a dream come true! Secluded on an island and perfect for unwinding. The kitchen is well equipped and you can conjure up every menu. But you should be able to magic, because there are no restaurants, 😀 which was not negative. We rented the motorboat from Ove and were able to explore the island. If you like fish, there is the possibility to go fishing by boat. Ove provides fishing material. This Airbnb actually deserved more than 5 stars!!

Fantastic quiet little place for our family of 4 with great views. We had a comfortable stay. It’s about a 10-15 mins walk to Flam but be ready for the most gorgeous walk of your life!

I had a such a peaceful and restorative stay! The host was unbelievably kind and helpful, and the space was perfect for my needs. It was very cozy with nice lighting and candles, a beautiful view, and cute little touches throughout. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare myself food, the bed was very comfortable, and the space is very well thought-out in terms of amenities and space. The location is gorgeous and I went for a few beautiful hikes straight from the Airbnb, with some recommendations from the host. It feels very remote and removed, but the Stanghelle train stop is only a 30 min walk or 5 min drive, so it is very accessible even with public transit. I did not drive so I cannot speak to the parking, but the host very kindly picked me up from the train station and personally showed me how to get into the cabin. I highly recommend this space and host and will be keeping an eye out for when the next door cabin is finished, as well!

We loved the stay, it’s a really great option for those who want to make the Briksdal glacier hike or just to spend few days in peaceful place enjoying the magical sounds of waterfalls and that amazing scenery. There is a pretty good cafeteria in Briksdalsbre Mountain Lodge 5 drive minutes away, a good option for folks who want to have a break from cooking.

Very cosy, great communication

This is one of our all time favorite AirBnB spots! The bed was very comfortable, which was appreciated after long days of travel, hiking, and exploring the area. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals and comfortably enjoy eating at home. It was so nice having our own quiet space to relax, watch the birds, and recover from some very busy days. We took a couple quick swims in the fjord and enjoyed the patio space as well. Ulvik is an adorable town with character and friendly faces, and we’d love to come back!

Gorgeous location. Peaceful walks right out the door. Close to Herdla which has quite a few interesting places like a bird sanctuary and sauna. The host is friendly and super helpful!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful, cozy and provides everything you could possibly need. There are tons of things you could do in the area, we went kajaking, to the high-rope & zip-line park and swimming in the lake Vangsvatnet. Alf-Olav was incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. We can warmly recommend the cabin and would love to come back one day.

Simply indescribable. Personal welcome with homemade apple jam by Synne. A hut that leaves nothing to be desired. There is a sauna by the lake 500 kr for 2 people. Despite the rain, we drove the private road 10kr to the glacier at Loen. Yes, there are buses that go there. So, remember the location of the last passing place. Thank you very much, we felt comfortable immediately.

Fantastic experience! A cozy Birdbox, with a spectacular view and secluded location. The Birdbox was equipped with what we needed for a comfortable stay, in line with the description in the advertisement. Siv was a super host, who responded quickly to inquiries and was on the offer side. We also had a nice trip up to the cabin together. I can highly recommend a stay at Birdbox Langeland, and we will be happy to return at a later time!
