Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vestvågøy

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

The views for this place were even better than the pictures can portray! There was a view outside of every window! The host was easy to communicate with and made it feel so welcome! This cabin feels like it's loved and part of a family. Such an incredible spot!

One of the nicest places we have stayed at and it felt like home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Neighbourhood is nice and quiet so we had really peacefull sleep there. 10/10

We really loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for our trip around the Lofoten. The area is quiet but still super central for driving around and going for hikes. Also we were able to charge our EV which was just perfect. If we are able to revisit the Lofoten we would always come back to this absolute gem!

This is a lovely place to stay, of course clean and well looked after. Amenities are as described and match the photos provided. Communication with Beathe is excellent both prior to and during my visit, replies always quick and positive to solve a couple of questions I had regarding the area. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to other travellers.

The stay in the cottage was great. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and even more. Very well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. A washing machine and tumble dryer are a great convenience. Comfortable beds, good, dark blinds on the windows. Sometimes you can see hares behind the house through the windows :) Private parking and plenty of space in front of the house. If I were to fly to Lofoten for the second time, I would definitely stay in this cottage. Nusfjord is a beautiful town to spend your holidays in Lofoten. It is very well located, it is close to all popular places, and Nusfjord and its bay is an attraction in itself.

Located near to famous Reinebringen hike and groceries within walking distance and beautiful surroundings!

Our trip was a mix of working remotely and hiking. Tone's place is in a great location for many beautiful hikes and makes the driving manageable each day. For the days I worked, the internet was fast and I could do everything I needed to. It's also within walking distance to the grocery store and a small cafe. The neighborhood is as quiet and safe as you can get. We arrived late, and check-in was easy. Tone was very responsive before and during the trip. We had rain a few days during our trip and it feels spacious and cozy inside for two. The ladder to the loft is a bit steep and awkward and it's easy to accidentally hit your head on the beam at the top. For those with mobility issues, it could be challenging to get up and down. Overall, we're glad we stayed here and would recommend.

Congrats on the layout! We loved staying at this apartment. Very well located for visiting Les Lofoten, close to shops for shopping. Very clean accommodation, very well furnished, very well equipped, connected tv. Central and convenient location. The apartment is very clean and check in was easy. The charger for our EV made charging our car easy and we never had to stop to charge it while out during the day.

We stayed 3 nights and this new apartment allowed us to explore Lofoten with ease - Leknes was close by for everything we needed. Clean tidy uncluttered - it got to be said.

I don't even know which superlative to choose. Monica's apartment is just WOW!!!! Very large and incredibly stylish and high-quality furnishings. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook. The living room is incredibly beautiful. The beds are a dream. We slept wonderfully. We also used the washing machine in the bathroom. Detergent is available. The apartment is extremely well located, very quiet, but still close to Leknes and of course very close to Offersøykammen. Monica and her cousin were very friendly and helpful. We were also able to check in earlier. In conclusion, we have never stayed in such a good place on Airbnb. We highly recommend this place.

The house was really wonderful and we had an amazing holiday! Area is so beautiful! It is in walking distance from shops and restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet and easy to get around. The house itself is cosy and nicely decorated. Everything was super clean. We were delighted, how well equipped the kitchen was. We could come back anytime!!

We had the pleasure of staying 8 days over Easter at Roger's apartment in Ballstad. We have traveled home incredibly happy and satisfied. The apartment is lovely and central with walking distance to everything from shopping to hiking routes to bus stop. Check-in was super easy and no problem. The apartment lived up to the photos. The bed and duvets were great. The bathroom had a great shower and was clean and tidy. The kitchen lacked nothing and the living room invited for coziness. Outside there was a table and bench we had lunch by and enjoyed the view. It was a great luxury that we didn't have to clean the head, just put the towels in the laundry basket. Thank you for that. All in all, we felt incredibly at home, and could have easily taken another week. We would recommend the place and Roger as a host to anyone who would like to visit Ballstad. Roger was a great host who helped us get home as no buses drove from Ballstad. 100% worth a visit and a place we want to come back to.

We stayed for two nights. A clean and spacious basement apartment. Good starting point for activities in Lofoten. Shopping opportunities nearby (Leknes). Highly recommended.
