Kergord Cottage

Are you looking for peace and quiet? Are you looking for tranquility amongst the trees? Well look no further! Our House is nestled in the middle of the trees surrounded by birds. Which in Shetland is a rare sight; as trees are hard to come by. If you're a bird watcher or keen walker then you'll love staying here. The House was in fact featured on BBC's Scotland Home of the year in 2021. The judges praised the house as being a place of comfort without losing the traditional feel of the croft.

Outdoor sauna and wood fired hot tub in the garden to enjoy the view. Nature lovers will enjoy the abundance of wild life in Newing. The garden has been used many times as a view point for birdwatchers, orca hunters and otter spotters. See cute lambs at the fence in spring and later in the year large pods of neesiks (porpoise) regularly visit the bay.

It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

There is private parking at the house. The charming village of Vidlin has a well stocked shop within walking distance and a service bus route nearby. In the centre of the village is an attractive marina. The nearest pub in Brae is 10 miles away and it’s just 22 miles to the ferry port of Lerwick.

East-Gate Selfcatering

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

Two bedroom cottage in central Lerwick

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

Wethersta Cottage is located on the Shetland mainland and is ideally situated for exploring all parts of Shetland. Conveniently situated near the village of Brae, easy driving distance to anywhere in Shetland. Our cosy cottage is deceptively spacious with 2 good sized bedrooms., kitchen/diner, lounge area, shower room, decking area and large parking area. Small pets are welcome, as long as they are house trained, and you tidy up after them.

The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.
